Luke’s expression darkened.

The delegates jumped from their seats in terror. So rushed behind the sofas, while others hid behind the curtains and tables. One man even crawled beneath the desk, trembling violently.

"We’ve been ambushed," the man yelled frantically. "The enemy broke through the front security."

Luke imdiately rose to his feet. The man in the black suit moved beside him at once, trying to escort him out.

"We need to leave now, sir."

But Luke stopped him abruptly. "Find Max first."

"Sir, your safety cos first."

"I said, find my son." Luke’s voice thundered with authority. "I already lost his mother. I won’t lose him, either."

The bodyguard clenched his jaw. "We’ll secure you first and—"

"No." Luke’s eyes turned frighteningly cold. "Bring Max to ."

The man hesitated for only a second before pulling out his phone.

"Find Young Master Max imdiately," he ordered sharply. "Secure him and take him to the rear exit."

Only then did Luke finally move.

anwhile...

Outside the hotel...

Dominic rushed toward the hotel when the gunfire exploded. He paused in his tracks abruptly. His expression changed almost imdiately.

"What the hell?" he muttered darkly. "I told them to wait."

He thought his n had disobeyed him and started the attack early. But he was wrong.

His phone rang in the anti.

"What is it?" Dominic barked, irritated.

"Dominic," an anxious voice shouted from the other end. "Luke Bellini had hidden guards stationed all over the hotel. Victor already knew you were targeting him. It’s a trap."

Dominic’s posture stiffened.

"Abort the mission imdiately," the voice continued urgently. "Leave that place right now."

For the first ti in a very long while, Dominic realized he had miscalculated. Victor had moved one step ahead of him.

His jaw tightened dangerously. But it was too late to regret it.

His n were trapped inside. And Mila was still in the hotel.

The thought alone sent a wave of panic crashing through his chest.

Dominic shoved through the crowd rushing out of the hotel and stord inside. People scread and ran past him, desperate to escape the gunfire, but he moved against the current like a madman.

His eyes searched for Mila frantically.

"Mila..." he cried out.

Then he finally saw her.

She was rushing out with Max through the chaotic hallway. Her face was pale with fear.

The mont Dominic saw her unhard, relief hit him so hard it nearly weakened his knees.

"Mila..." He ran over to her.

She whipped her head in his direction instantly. "Dominic."

He pulled her violently into his arms.

Max stood there, watching them blankly.

Mila clutched his shirt tightly, trembling. "There is gunfire everywhere," she whispered shakily. "I was scared."

Dominic held her even tighter as if he feared she would disappear the mont he let go.

"It’s okay," he rasped. "I’m here."

But despite his relief, his mind remained restless. His n were still trapped inside. And the firing had not stopped yet.

He had to save them. But before that, he had to secure her safety first.

"Let’s get out of here."

Dominic pulled her toward the exit.

Max followed them. Before he could take a few steps, soone grabbed his arm firmly.

"Co with , young master."

Max turned sharply. "Who are you?"

"I’m your father’s guard," the man replied quickly. "Mr. Bellini is waiting for you at the rear exit."

"I’m not going anywhere—"

"You are in danger." The man lowered his voice. "Please."

Max looked back instinctively.

His gaze landed on Dominic shielding Mila protectively in his arms. Sothing tightened painfully inside his chest. In the end, he said nothing and allowed the guard to pull him away.

Outside the hotel, Dominic dragged Mila toward the car parked in the corner. He turned to her and held her shoulders.

"Go back to the apartnt imdiately," he ordered. "The driver will take you there. You’ll be safe."

Mila’s eyes widened. "What about you?"

"I still have people inside."

"No." She grabbed his arm instantly, panic filling her eyes. "Don’t go back in there."

Gunfire continued echoing from inside the hotel.

Mila’s face turned pale as another loud burst rang through the air.

"Please," she whispered, tears gathering in her eyes. "Co with ."

Dominic’s gaze softened for a brief second as he looked at her frightened face. But then his expression hardened again.

"I can’t abandon my n." He cupped her face. "Wait for ."

He kissed her. Before Mila could kiss him back, he pulled away.

"Dominic..."

He turned to the driver. "Take her away. Her safety is on you."

The driver nodded.

Dominic rushed back into the hotel.

Mila stood frozen for several seconds, staring toward the entrance anxiously. Her heart pounded violently, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Madam, please get in," the driver urged. "We should leave."

Reluctantly, Mila got in, and the car ran away within seconds.

Inside the hotel, Dominic moved swiftly through the bloodstained corridors.

Bodies already littered the floor. Smoke filled the air.

He called his n repeatedly.

At first, no one answered. Then, finally, a strained voice ca through.

"Boss..."

"Where are you?" Dominic demanded sharply.

"We are trapped near the private eting room," the man coughed painfully. "They surrounded us from all sides... We won’t survive much longer."

Dominic’s eyes turned murderous. "You won’t die," he said coldly. "I’m coming."

He ended the call and moved silently through the corridor.

One enemy appeared from the corner.

Bang.

Dominic shot him directly between the eyes without even slowing down.

Another rushed at him from behind. Dominic spun instantly, grabbed the man by the throat, and slamd a knife deep into his neck. Blood sprayed across the wall.

The man collapsed, twitching at his feet.

Dominic kept moving, cold, ruthless, and ferocious, like a devil walking through hell.

Three ard n suddenly appeared ahead. Gunfire erupted.

Dominic flipped behind the pillar, then erged from the side and fired rapidly.

Two n dropped instantly.

The third tried to escape. Dominic grabbed him before he could run and smashed his face repeatedly against the wall until the man stopped moving completely.

His shirt was already stained with blood. But Dominic looked terrifyingly calm.

The deeper he moved into the hotel, the more enemies rushed over. He killed them all rcilessly.

So died from bullets. So had their throats slit open. Others were beaten brutally.

The enemies slowly began panicking.

"The Devil is coming," one man shouted in horror.

Fear spread rapidly among them.

Finally, Dominic arrived at the area where his n were trapped.

Several enemies guarded the corridor.

Gunfire exploded again.

Dominic counterattacked. Within minutes, the hallway turned into a bloodbath.

His n stared at him with awe as they watched him kill a dozen n on his own. Their boss appeared through the smoke like a monster drenched in blood.

"Boss..." They rushed over to him, relieved.

Distant police sirens echoed outside the hotel.

Dominic narrowed his eyes.

"Move," he ordered coldly. "We are leaving."

No one dared waste another second. They blended with the guests and rushed out of the hotel.

Dominic’s phone rang yet again. He answered, "Hello?"

"Are you alright?" the voice from the other end asked worriedly.

"We are all fine," Dominic replied. "So were injured. But they are fine."

"Leave right away." The voice turned serious. "Victor is hunting you. Co back."
