"Momma, when are we going to go back home?" Little Melon asked while hugging his mother on the bed.
"Hm?"
"Mello has skipped school for almost two weeks now. We will be having our Christmas party next week, so Mello has to go. Mello's partner is Xiao Yao."
So that was why he wanted to buy such a girly looking music box, it was for Yong Xiao Yao.
How should Xia Meilin tell Little Melon that they won't be going back anytime soon? When she saw the excitement in her son's eyes, t made it hard for her to tell him about the matter. Instead of answering him she turned to Lu Yifeng who was sitting down on the bedside.
"We'll be returning tomorrow." Lu Yifeng answered,
Huh? Didn't they already decide to stay in Italy until she gives birth? Xia Meilin couldn't help but look at her husband in confusion.
"I will be acpanying Xiao Gua in going back to China. You will stay here and live with my cousin in the meantime." Lu Yifeng explained.
"Momma is staying here?" Little Melon's shoulder went down. "Momma's not ing with us?"
"Lu Yifeng." Won't it be dangerous for them to go back to China? Xia Meilin felt uneasy because of his sudden decision.
"Xiao Gua has to finish his semester there." He turned to look at his son. "Don't worry, we will e back here when your classes end. We will spend your Christmas vacation here. Your mother is carrying your sisters; it'll be safer if she stays here since traveling back and forth will be hard for your mother."
Besides, it was about time for Lin Yiyang to try to infiltrate Lu Yifeng's Jinwu team and his pany by sending spies. Lu Yifeng needs to be there when that day es. He needs to take care of Lin Yiyang once he makes his move.
"Mello will miss momma…"Little Melon rested his head on top of Xia Meilin's tummy. "Mello will miss Xiao Xing and Xiao Chun."
Xia Meilin sighed, "I will miss you too." She stroked her son's hair.
Will it be alright for them to go back? She wanted to go with them, but she knew that Lu Yifeng was right with what he said earlier. This was a crucial time for her. She needs to protect their unborn children.

"Nian Jiezhen, take care of my wife." Lu Yifeng said as he looked at her.
"Don't worry, brother Yifeng, your wife is in good hands. I will make sure to protect her well." Nian Jiezhen smiled.
Xia Meilin rolled her eyes inwardly when she heard the words that Nian Jiezhen spouted. She's just saying that to look cool in front of her husband.
Lu Yifeng turned to Xia Meilin. He reached out his hand and held hers. "Behave, okay?"
"Momma, sister Jiezhen, no fighting, okay?" Little Melon reminded.
Xia Meilin and Nian Jiezhen looked at each other sideways before they turn back to Little Melon and nodded in sync.
"Then shake hands." Little Melon wanted to make sure that they're good. His teacher would always make his classmates shake each other's hand and hug each other whenever they were caught fighting. It always made the fighting stop.
Xia Meilin sighed inwardly. Why are they treating her like she was a naughty child? She already told them that she would behave. She was not a kid!
Nian Jiezhen thought the same. Alas, she still faced Xia Meilin and offered her hand for a handshake.
Xia Meilin pursed her lips before she turned to Nian Jiezhen. She held her hand and shook it.
"Now hug."
They both turned to Little Melon and asked at the same time: "Are you serious?"
Little Melon had his arms crossed and was looking at them with a serious look on his face.
Meanwhile, Lu Yifeng was just watching from the side. He wants them to be in good term. Xia Meilin was his wife and Nian Jiezhen was his cousin, he always treated her like a younger sister that's why it would be nice if they can get along together.
Besides, Nian Jiezhen would be very useful in the future since she works as a detective, to be exact, she was a profiler. When it es to people like Yong Biqi, Nian Jiezhen understands the most on how they think.
Xia Meilin and Nian Jiezhen stared at each other and sighed in the end. They leaned and gave each other a hug.
"Truce." Xia Meilin whispered in her ear.
"Truce." Nian Jiezhen whispered back.
When they pulled away from the hug, they stared at each other for a while before their lips curled up. They turned to Little Melon.
"See? We're not going to fight anymore." Xia Meilin said.
"We're friends now."Nian Jiezhen followed her.
