Lu Yifeng is a man of few words but right now, those words keep on ing and ing out of his mouth. He wanted her to believe him and for that to happen, he needs to tell her the truth. "That's why... I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Meilin... I'm sorry for giving you that horrible experience."
Her eyes started to bee misty. This wasn't suppose to be the truth that she wanted to hear from him. He was staring straight at her and she can see that there was no sign of falsehood in his eyes.
How can she doubt a person who is staring at her with these kind of eyes? She didn't want to believe but his eyes were telling her to believe him.
"But... but..." She bursts out in tears. What can she say now? She was planning to continue to accuse him, her argument with him was already prepared, she was willing to get it all out from him.
It did happened but what now? She got the confession she wants from him but... it is not the answer that she was expecting from him.
He touched her cheek and wiped her tears away with his thumb. The way she controls her tears infront of everyone and even the way she let's her emotions flow through tears if she was hurt makes her even more beautiful. Because of this, he wants to protect her.
He pull her in his arms and hugg her close. He can finally hug her without a heavy heart.
She didn't push him away. She cried on his chest like a kid. Her invisible walls that she build up around her were shattered just like that.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Lu Yifeng continued to apologize as he was hugging her close.
He was sorry... Sorry for giving her that experience, sorry for hurting her, sorry for not being able to be by her side in her hard times, especially when she gave birth to their son. He was sorry for the things he did to her in his previous life.
Who could have thought that the man who broke her would also be the man to fix her?
"I-I hate you... I hate you..." She started hitting his chest. "I hate you!"
He closed his eyes, accepting her punches. "I know."
Xia Meilin cried louder when she heard his answer. She stopped punching his chest. She raised her head and looked at him with her wet face, "W-why? Why are you like this?"
He touched her cheeks with both hands this time. He was wiping her tears dry but to no avail, it kept on flowing down.

He leaned down to her level and placed his lips against hers. The move he made surprised her that it also made her tears stop.
Before she can push him away, Lu Yifeng pulled back, but their faces were still a few inches apart. "Why you say? It's because... I love you."
Lu Yifeng's words keep on repeating in her mind and it wasn't just that, his kisses keeps on playing again and again in her mind which made her face instantly turn red.
"You can hate me all you want but... I will keep on loving you. Your hate will not stop me from loving you." In his previous life, these were the words that he keeps on telling himself whenever Xia Meilin would look at him with eyes full of hate. These were the words that he told himself to fort him... these were the words that he badly wanted to tell her.
"Y-You're crazy!" She hit him again on his chest and this time he flinched.
Her heart drop when she saw his pained face. She forgot that his wounds were still healing! "I-I'm sorry... I... I-
Lu Yifeng smiled when he saw her reaction. He closed in and kissed her on her forehead this time. "It's okay. Besides, I'm only crazy for you."
The smile on his face was mesmerizing. Even if it was a bit similar to Lu Xian Yu's smiling face, it was still different. It made her heart want to burst.
She stepped on his foot before she quickly turn way and escape him by running out of the place. She couldn't handle the speed her beating heart. She feels like it was going to jump out soon. Her face was burning and she felt like she was going to have a fever. She cannot tolerate being in the same room as that man!
Lu Yifeng didn't follow her. He let her go. The smile on his face remained. He was so delighted right now. He was sure that their relationship will improve this time. This night was a huge step for their relationship to be fixed.
Just a little bit more... He can finally make her fall for him.
