It’s a pity, Charles had his own concerns and didn’t dare to make a move against William, but a cold smile appeared on William’s face.

Charles’s face turned extrely ugly, and William’s words created a tense atmosphere in the room. Everyone had a premonition, as if sothing was about to happen.

Then, William slowly took out a small fragrance pouch. The contents inside were sothing he had obtained from that Lady in Purple earlier today.
He slowly pulled open the string on the fragrance pouch, and it split open, releasing a swarm of dense black insects. They erged like a black cloud, unabashedly and wantonly attacking everyone around William.
This included Charles, Charles’s trusted aide, and even those traitors who had defected to William.
Roars of anger, screams of pain erupted, especially from those traitors. They hadn’t expected William to be so ruthless? To wipe them all out, not sparing even them?
After all, they had betrayed Charles for him and had already started working for William!
William watched it all calmly, his heart undisturbed.
Charles roared in anger, "Wil—liam—!!"

But William was no longer the one who could be toyed with. He kicked, and the already frail Charles was no match for him. He fell to the ground, and the next mont, those black insects sward over him.

Charles scread in agony, the ground was stained with blood, and the tiny insects were relentless, possessing a corrosive quality. His flesh started to decay, and he writhed on the ground in pain, tornted by an unbearable itch. The more unbearable it was, the more he scratched, until finally, he tore chunks of flesh from his own body.
William watched this impassively, allowing the bloody chaos to wash over him, while he slowly lifted his head, his blue eyes like a sea of sorrow, tears of bitterness rolling down his cheeks.
