The day the Seventh Princess returned, Dong Huiying was out shopping with her two husbands.
The weather was pleasant, with her holding Zhi Chen by one arm and Shu Yu by the other, they swept through the streets. Food, drinks, clothes, fabric, and much more—it was a loot.

A drop of sweat rolled down his forehead as he rolled up his sleeves and gently pressed his sweaty brow. "I can’t walk anymore, haven’t we bought enough?" His wife has bought everything, including Jiangnan’s specialties.

Shu Yu sipped tea quietly, his gaze occasionally drifting to his wife. The love in his eyes was palpable, almost flowing out like water.
Zhi Chen was the sa, attending to her, noticing her empty cup, he refilled her tea, but couldn’t help advising her to drink less, lest she’d fill up on tea before the dishes arrived.
Just as Dong Huiying was about to reply, a string of firecrackers suddenly burst in the distance. She leaned over the wooden window fra, peering outside: "These firecrackers are loud, is soone getting married?"
She was muttering to herself when she saw a crowd bustling at the city gates, kneeling together.
She was slightly stunned, thinking: Such a spectacle indeed.
Soon afterward, a procession moved through the city gates.
