Dong Huiying forced herself to perk up. When she arrived at the dining room, she found that she was the only one there; Shu Yu had not co.
"Where is Shu Yu?" she asked a servant, who replied that they had gone to call for Shu Yu earlier, but Shu Yu sent the servant away.
Dong Huiying changed her direction and walked towards Shu Yu’s room.

Arriving outside Shu Yu’s room, Dong Huiying paused for a mont before raising her hand to gently knock on the door. Inside, footsteps could be heard, slow and leisurely, creating a familiar feeling that made her recall the old days. That lazy, always seemingly amused but not, sotis cynical, but more often focused and gentle man when he looked at her.
When Shu Yu opened the door, there was a look of surprise on his face, as if he hadn’t expected it, especially today, when first his wife had a fight with him, and later he failed to hold back his own emotions and said things he shouldn’t have. He thought that, given her temper, she wouldn’t bother with him for a while, but to his surprise, she had co to find him.
Dong Huiying felt a bit awkward, but since she was already here, there was no reason to pretend otherwise. "Why didn’t you co to eat?"
A warm smile suddenly appeared on his face, "I wasn’t very hungry, so I didn’t go."
"Your stomach isn’t well, and it’s only recently recovered. Don’t joke around with your health."
Shu Yu smiled and said, "My lady is right to chide."
Having gotten used to him calling her "Huiying," when he addressed her as "my lady" again, it felt unfamiliar and distant.

Shu Yu said, "In that case, it’s my fault for making you endure hunger to co find ; I am truly at fault."
She couldn’t help but twitch her eyelids.
Afterwards, Shu Yu took her hand, "Co, let’s have a al together."
As they walked towards the dining room together, Dong Huiying’s feelings were filled with anxiety. She stole a glance at Shu Yu, only to see him seemingly untroubled.
She had thought he might be angry for a long ti. After all, a single hand cannot clap; when there are issues in a relationship, it’s never just one person’s fault; both parties bear responsibility.
However, Shu Yu seed to have turned the page on the matter. Though initially stiff in their interaction, he quickly returned to his usual self.

In the dining room, the two of them sat down. Shu Yu picked up chopsticks and served her so food: "Earlier with Yi Ran, it was my oversight. You mustn’t starve yourself thin, otherwise if big brother gets well and sees you so thin like a bamboo pole, he’ll surely question ."
Dong Huiying paused for a mont, then placed so food in Shu Yu’s bowl as well: "You too, eat more."
The smile in Shu Yu’s eyes deepened, "Thank you, my lady."
Dong Huiying: "..."
This lesson, it’s unclear who won or who lost. In any case, the two seem to have reconciled, but sothing still feels a bit off. What has happened cannot be forgotten, like a crack lying between them. Yet, with one willing and the other intentional, they genuinely want to nd that crack, which is quite harmonious.
