Sanlang was simply incredulous, his eyes wide open, filled with accusations against his elder brother.
Dalang sighed inwardly, "Alright, you can leave."
He drove Sanlang away, and when he turned to the Eighth Princess again, his face appeared as genuine as before, but deep down, he had grown sowhat calculative.
Back when he encountered Miss Huang in the valley, he saw her covered in blood. Her appearance was wretched, and her clothes were tattered, but what she wore and used were of the finest quality.
However, Dalang’s initial intention to rescue her was not because Miss Huang’s attire was extraordinary, but because kindness was ingrained in their very bones.
Since childhood, they grew up eating food provided by various families; if not for the villagers’ support, their three brothers might not have survived this long.
The seeds of kindness were sown during their growth, so the three brothers tended to treat others well and avoid enmity. If they encountered a situation where they could help, they would. If their abilities were limited and unable to help, it was truly beyond their ans.

Furthermore, based on today alone, the reason the third brother’s goodwill was misunderstood by Miss Huang was fundantally because she never trusted the brothers!

Dalang let out a deep sigh.

She was still angry about the previous incident.
In her view, it was Sanlang’s fault, yet she was wronged by him, and her resentnt was understandable.
Dalang glanced at the Eighth Princess, then turned back to open a cabinet door and took out a square iron box from within. This box held part of their brothers’ belongings.
He scraped through the box and finally fished out so scattered copper coins.
Dalang said, "My second brother once ntioned to a saying, ’If paths diverge, we shouldn’t seek to conspire.’ Miss Huang, I can tell you’re from a wealthy background, and we brothers never wished to aspire to soone as noble as yourself. Since your injuries are almost healed, in a few days, you should leave."
