Shujun secretly thought it amusing. She blinked her beautiful peach blossom eyes, then with an innocent face, she asked, "Why are you so angry? Here, let guess, haven’t you seen Baobao for several days? Are you missing her?"
Yuening choked up, "Stop talking nonsense!" He retorted harshly, but his neck turned red, "Why would I miss her? I was worried she might have run off!"
"Tsk, you’re really not cute."
Shujun playfully lifted his chin, forcing him to look into her eyes.
"Little Yuening, do you think your brother can’t see through you when you say one thing and an another?"
This little brother of hers had always been stubborn, a classic case of a tough-talking coward.
Like when they were kids, and their fourth father carved a little wood figure for the eldest brother, he obviously wanted it, he yearned for it, but when asked, he put on a façade of ’I’m not interested.’
To this, Shujun was surprised. Before, the brothers and Dong Dabao were at loggerheads. But the eldest brother was composed, the second brother was scheming, and she herself wasn’t exactly clean-handed either. Fourth Brother Liang Haoming was taciturn, and with a perennially poker face, seldom showed emotions. Liang Yixuan, the sixth brother, seed compliant but was quite adept at avoiding trouble, it was only Fifth Brother Liang Yuening who was always a handful.
