Qi Xi ca bouncing over, covered in dirt like a mud monkey, with mud all over his face, shoes, and pant legs. But in his hand, he clutched a bunch of fresh little flowers.
These flowers were of an unknown variety, probably wildflowers from the roadside, but they looked pure and elegant, quite adorable.
"Lady Dong, Lady Dong——!" His voice arrived before he did. Qi Xi shouted loudly, gesticulating wildly, "Lady Dong, I’ve arrived——! These little flowers are for you!!"

She suspiciously looked at Liang Zhichen, who had already taken off his mask, revealing a face as black as the bottom of a pot.

He placed the little flowers on a shelf, and then... was dragged away far by Liang Zhichen.

After Qi Xi was dragged away by Liang Zhichen, Shu Yu calmly walked out from the house.
He glanced gloomily at the shelf, then gave a slight "heh."
He slowly turned back, looking at his wife with a half-smile.
He asked, "Are these flowers very pretty? Hmm??"
Dong Huiying: "..."
