Ever since Shu Yu left with his wife-master yesterday, he hasn’t eaten a thing, constantly starving, yet he doesn’t feel hungry. The whole person seems numb. "Shu Yu, can you add so firewood to the stove pit for ?"

"You lazy thing, I’ll make the dishes and you’ll certainly get your share."

"You... fine, I’ll do it myself!" She was about to take action, but Shu Yu gave her a glare.
"Why are you glaring at ?" she asked, stunned.
Shu Yu curled his lip, "Fool!"
Then, the man who hadn’t wanted to crouch to stoke the fire suddenly bent over, picking up so firewood and adding it into the fire pit.
Dong Huiying glanced at him; maybe they were on the sa wavelength, she suddenly understood.
He must be feeling sorry for her, afraid she’d be tired, so even unwillingly, he’d help her work like this.
This man who speaks differently than he feels!
But why was he being so coy earlier? Why not just act like this from the start?
He insists on being stubborn, rejecting her, then refusing to let her act herself. She’s finding it increasingly difficult to grasp the mind of this man.

A simple two dishes and a soup were laid out on the table, with Dong Huiying and Shu Yu sitting at opposite ends.
Shu Yu ate slowly, thodically, chewing each mouthful dozens of tis as if savoring ticulously before swallowing.
As for Dong Huiying herself?
Probably from slling smoke while cooking earlier, she ended up with little appetite. She always had this problem before; however... back then, when the food was served, she had a pack of ravenous beasts all busy devouring, leaving no ti to pay attention to such small matters.
But this ti, who knows why, by sheer coincidence perhaps?
Or maybe because it’s just the two of them at the table and no other brothers to disrupt, there’s no need to worry about taking fewer bites and running out of food, so Shu Yu has the leisure to observe her while eating.
