For a heartbeat, nothing existed but the sound of Riley’s breathing.

His chest rose and fell. The world steadied. Warmth spilled through his limbs like a tide going out after the storm. He felt weightless and foolish and happy and sore all at once.

Kael did not move away.

Below, the golden dragon’s head lifted just enough, his lips separating from Riley’s slick, sensitive length.

With an unhurried, possessive motion, the dragon lord ran his tongue over Riley’s length one last ti in a thorough, slow lick—an offering and a claim—ensuring he tasted every remaining trace of the human’s ecstasy. Then, Kael’s mouth worked once, swallowing.

"Mnn..."

Riley blinked, his vision still swimming, but the sight of the dragon lord’s satisfied expression and the intimate act sent a fresh wave of heat to his already burning face.

"Kael, don’t do that," Riley managed, the sound a weak, embarrassed plea.

His cheeks were blazing a desperate red, and he tried to push a shaking hand toward the dragon’s head.

But the deceivingly languid dragon rely straightened slightly, golden eyes fixed on Riley with an unwavering intensity that brokered no argunt.

Calm. Possessive. Unapologetic.

So he should’ve known.

"You’re mine, and all this is mine," he stated, his voice a low, rumbling declaration. "So where else should it go but on ?"

The human was utterly scandalized, hiding his face with one forearm as he groaned.

He was a simple person. He liked rules, clean lines, and hot n. And a single sentence from this dragon reduced him to soft clay.

Because who wouldn’t crumble after hearing such words from soone who looked like he truly deserved to own everything he desired? Riley rely sank further onto the desk, completely spent and breathing heavily.

Then, much to the human’s surprise, Kael stood up.

The dragon lord was now towering over him, positioned directly between Riley’s splayed legs. He was shalessly close, and the putty goo’s last lingering warmth was suddenly confronted by an imnse, throbbing heat pressed flush against his inner thigh.

"!"

There was no mistaking the state the dragon lord was in. It was blatant. Unhideable. Unfair to every mortal standard.

That was most definitely Kael’s extrely erect mber.

The human stared. Dumbfounded.

Horror and fascination tangled. Because surely, sowhere in the heavens, soone had asured stamina with a broken scale.

Riley wondered if the gods were truly so unfair. When they were distributing stamina and endurance across the world, he was convinced he had been sowhere underground while the dragon had been sunbathing, absorbing all the power.

However, perhaps the heavens had simply known that Riley was already insane as a person and didn’t want to exacerbate or encourage his insanity any further.

Because who knows how he would’ve behaved if he’d been the one graced with such abilities.

The dragon lord didn’t speak much after standing up. He didn’t really have to. He just stood there, his imnse arousal pressed against Riley’s thigh, making his intentions unequivocally known.

Riley couldn’t help the sound that escaped him—a short, breathless chuckle that was more a laugh at the absurdity of his own situation.

This definitely ant they weren’t done, right?

But Riley was no Kael.

Even if a part of him now desperately wanted to be tossed around all week, his body, inexperienced in such marathon feats, and currently without the additional boosting effects of the blood sigil, might not be able to walk the talk.

While the Heartstone could do wonders to help, it didn’t particularly strengthen his muscles and bones!

What could he do with stamina when he won’t even have his groin left?!

So the human resorted to lesson who-knows-what-number.

He reached out with a trembling hand. "Kael, I-I probably need more exercise for uhm... next ti," he admitted, his voice still ragged. "So for now, if you don’t mind... can you just follow my instructions?"

A faint furrow touched Kael’s brow—concern, quick and sharp, then hidden again.

What stayed was that flicker of curiosity; just as usual, he didn’t dare take his eyes off his human, as if Riley might disappear at any mont.

His focused stare held a question as Riley’s hand moved as if instructing.

Riley, still heavily flushed, nodded to himself. "Pardon for doing this," he murmured.

As Riley’s hand moved to ground him against the table, the human pulled back the leg that rested on the armrest.

Then, as if really understanding the situation, he tilted his head back, taking in the impressive height of the dragon looming above him.

"Wow, you’re really tall."

The spent human managed to pull both his legs off the desk and, with considerable effort, maneuver them until they were raised fully in front of Kael.

The position left Riley’s lower body utterly exposed, perfectly centered before the dragon.

"Can you brace my legs?" Riley asked, his breathing slowing to a more controlled pace, a flicker of mischievousness in his exhausted eyes.

"Huh?" Kael asked, still focused on Riley’s face, montarily confused by the request. The dragon lord then slowly processed the sight of Riley’s raised legs.

Riley didn’t wait for him to process the question fully.

With a final, decisive effort, the likely insane human put both his legs together and rested his calves on Kael’s chest. Riley’s feet tipped up, toes pointing to the ceiling as if he had been posed by a sculptor with very specific ideas about devotion.

The angle changed everything.

Riley exhaled through parted lips, half mortified, half thrilled, as his thighs closed.

The impact of those soft, exhausted legs squeezing Kael’s throbbing erection was instant.

Kael stilled.

The reaction that rolled through him was visible in the tight set of his jaw, in the way his eyes darkened a shade deeper, in the breath that did not quite make it out of his lungs before turning into a sound.

"Haa—!"

Riley flushed scarlet. He had no business feeling this proud. And yet he did.

"Okay," he whispered, teaching through shaky confidence. "Right there. Hold my legs. You can move, maybe slowly first... Just think of it as practice."

"Practice what?" Kael asked, even though his eyes said he knew.

Riley t that gaze. Sothing brave answered back.

"Let’s just say you can practice fucking like this," he said, the words a low, sensual suggestion.

Then again, maybe he should’ve just suggested they sleep.

Yes, sleep would have been easier.
