Ye Chutang took a roll of silver needles from her sleeve and deftly laid them out.

"Hey!" The guard at the door imdiately shouted, "What are you doing!?"
Ye Chutang paused, tilting her head slightly.

"What!?" Su Wei’s expression turned grim instantly. "What kind of poison? Is it serious?"

Even without her finishing the sentence, everyone understood what she ant.
Su Wei turned back and stared intently at Ye Heng. "Ye Heng! Do you have nothing to say!?"
Ye Heng looked completely bewildered. "I... I’m innocent! How could he be poisoned? This—"

The color instantly drained from Ye Shixian’s face. Her legs went weak, and she staggered back a step, nearly falling.
