Mikhailis felt like he was floating, surrounded by a warm and soft sensation. His mind was fuzzy, and he couldn't quite grasp what was happening. It was dark, but it wasn't an uncomfortable darkness—more like he was covered in a comforting blanket. He felt like he was drifting in a vast sea of warmth, where ti seed to lose its aning.
Where was he?
It felt strange, almost like he was tucked away sowhere, hidden from everything.
He tried to move his arms, but they felt small and weak, almost like they weren't even his. He tried to stretch out, but his body refused to respond properly, as if it had forgotten how to move.
What... is this place?
The warmth around him was soothing, making his mind feel heavy, as if he was drifting in and out of sleep. He could hear a faint sound—was it his own heartbeat?
The rhythmic thumping made him feel secure, like he was being cradled by an invisible force.
His body felt so small, and everything seed oversized and far away.
He tried again to move, but it felt like his entire body was subrged in sothing—everything felt heavy and sluggish, like he was stuck in thick syrup.
This... this is weird
He couldn't see anything, and the more he tried to move, the more he realized that even his senses felt dulled. It was as if the world around him was muffled, shrouded in a haze.
The warmth surrounding him made it hard to focus, and he had a strange sense of being very, very small. It was almost as if he was a baby again, though that thought was absurd. The more he pondered, the more confused he beca, his thoughts slipping away like grains of sand through his fingers.
His body still wouldn't respond properly, and he started to panic.
Why couldn't he move?
Why couldn't he see?
Was he trapped sowhere?
His thoughts swirled, trying to put the pieces together.
It was almost like he was inside an egg... but that couldn't be possible, right?
The idea was absurd, yet the sensation he felt was strangely familiar—the warmth, the heaviness.
He tried to stretch his arms again, his tiny fingers curling slightly. The more he struggled, the more he realized how weak and small he was. The thought made his heart pound, a mix of fear and bewildernt creeping over him.
He strained to focus, trying to figure out where he was. There was sothing oddly comforting about the place, but the inability to move or see made it unnerving.
W-What is this strange place...?
Why did he feel like he was wrapped up and so small?
His thoughts began to slow, and he could feel his consciousness drifting in and out, as if he was caught in a strange limbo between dreaming and waking.
Was this all just so weird dream?
It felt too real to be a dream, yet too bizarre to be reality. He could feel his mind slipping, the warmth lulling him into a sense of security, even as the questions continued to swirl in his head.
Suddenly, there was a shift in the warmth around him.
He felt a gentle, almost rocking movent, as if sothing had nudged him. His body was still heavy, but he could sense a change.
It was no longer completely dark—there was a faint light, a tiny glimr piercing through the darkness. He blinked, trying to open his eyes, though it felt like an imnse effort. The light grew, and slowly, very slowly, the darkness started to fade, replaced by a dim glow. It was like waking up from a long, deep sleep, the world slowly coming into focus.
As he opened his eyes, Mikhailis blinked, his vision blurry at first.
Everything around him was dimly lit, but he could make out the shape of what looked like a cave.
The walls were rough and uneven, illuminated by a soft glow coming from so kind of bioluminescent moss.
I swear I've seen this place sowhere...
It looked familiar, but his mind was still hazy, struggling to recall why. He squinted, trying to focus, the shapes around him slowly becoming clearer. It was like a scene from a distant mory, sothing he had seen before but couldn't quite place.
He tried to look around, turning his head with great effort. He could see sothing moving in the distance—a creature walking toward him. As it ca closer, Mikhailis's eyes widened. It was a chira ant worker, much larger than him, carrying sothing that looked like food. It moved purposefully, its antennae twitching slightly, as if it was on a mission.
Wait... chira ants?
He could feel his heartbeat quicken.
Why are they so big? Where am I?
The realization hit him like a shockwave.
This place—this was the chira ant colony.
But why did everything look so different?
Why am I so small?
He tried to speak, but the words that ca out of his mouth were nothing like he expected.
They were small, soft—like a baby's voice. "Ah... ah?" He blinked, confusion washing over him.
What was happening? He tried to lift his hand and realized that his arm was tiny, almost like...
No way.
He tried to speak again, but all that ca out were incoherent babbles. Panic started to build as he realized his body was indeed small.
I'm a fucking baby, aren't I!?!? What the hell is happening!? Rodion! Are you there!?
Did I die? Was it from... was it from having too much sex with Lira and Serelith?
His baby face scrunching up in confusion.
Is this so kind of divine judgnt?!
The worker ant approached him, and Mikhailis watched, his tiny eyes wide. The ant stopped just in front of him, tilting its head slightly as if inspecting him. Then, to his utter shock, he heard a voice—a voice in English.
the ant asked, holding up what looked like a piece of at.
