Usually, Liu Banxia has a cheerful deanor, giving off a relaxed vibe. Well, except when he knows interns are learning, he occasionally puts on a stern face, making the interns feel quite pressured.

The male patient just now was actually quite arrogant, exercising his patient rights to the fullest, but after facing the stern and constraining-free Liu Banxia, he hesitated.

Because he also felt a bit of pain in his chest, a bit of pain in his stomach, and a bit dizzy. Should he get checked out?

"Soone co to receive a patient, car accident victim, head injury, vomited in the ambulance."

At this mont, a shout ca from the entrance of the ergency center.

"I’ll take over. Still conscious?" Miao Rui quickly ran over.

"Conscious but unable to communicate properly. Blood pressure and heart rate are sowhat high. Director Liu has seen this patient," said the paradic.

"When I left, he wasn’t this serious yet. Give mannitol, and after routine checks, directly send for a head CT. Call the neurosurgeon over, there might be a brain bleed," Liu Banxia said after checking the pupils briefly.

"I’ll go make contact," Li Hao replied.

"Why did you decide to bring him here?" Liu Banxia curiously asked the paradic.

"When we heard the description at the scene, we realized it was you. We were a bit puzzled at the ti, if it were this serious, you’d have brought him directly to the hospital," the paradic replied.

"Ah... I did check him at the ti, though he was a bit dizzy then, but his eye tracking response was okay, and his consciousness was relatively clear," Liu Banxia sighed.

"Didn’t expect it to develop so fast. Luckily, he was wearing a helt, otherwise, he might not even have had a chance for rescue. Didn’t the traffic police follow up?"

"They’re still arguing, they’ll co later. It seems the car accident is quite complex, and no one wants to advance the dical fees for this young man. We want to contact his family, now looking for their outsourcing company," said the paradic.

"No need to rush too much, let’s rescue him here first. This one was also sent after a car accident, no protection at all, hit so badly yet refusing a checkup and wanting to discharge, thinking we’re going to scam him for more money," Liu Banxia said as he pointed to the male patient.

"Who said they wanted to discharge? I was just concerned about my wife. Now my head hurts, I need to do a CT, and I need an ultrasound, to check my intest... intestine or whatever, to see if there’s bleeding," the male patient said.

This delivery guy was really the last straw that broke the cal’s back; he’s genuinely scared now.

"If you’re not leaving then hurry up and pay, also your wife’s head CT, there’s a skull fracture, might end up like this delivery guy, these things might have delayed symptoms," Liu Banxia continued sternly.

The male patient glanced at him, "Then I want to do the CT together with my wife."

Liu Banxia chuckled, "Do you think this is a hotel? Offering double suites? Your most serious injury is in the abdon, pay first and go for an ultrasound, then we’ll arrange a CT for you."

Being scolded by Liu Banxia, the male patient didn’t dare utter a word. Maybe realizing he’s not as severe as the delivery guy who was just rushed in, he went to pay the fees.

"Director Liu, what’s going on? When did our ergency center beco so rough?" asked the curious paradic.

"This is just shenanigans, also possibly involving dostic violence. Xu Yino, the ti is set aside for you, work together with Liu Yiqing on this," Liu Banxia replied.

"Promise to complete the task," Xu Yino responded swiftly, and hurried back into Ergency Room Two.

"This situation is quite tricky to handle, over ninety percent won’t speak up," said the paradic.

"We’ve encountered such patients during ergency calls, initially quite angry, but after reaching the hospital, they have no other thoughts. What happens in the end? We end up being the bad guys for nothing."

"Ah... there might be such situations, but when encountered, you can’t pretend you don’t know. It’s quite serious, both radial bones are fractured, and we haven’t checked other areas yet," sighed Liu Banxia.

This situation is quite normal, even occurs quite frequently.

This is why bystanders rarely get involved in such matters, no real benefit, and they only end up covered in trouble.

It’s tough for an official to resolve family disputes; a couple together for years might have impulsive altercations, but for the most part, they live well enough together, with real feelings involved.

So the final outco of this issue entirely depends on the female patient; whatever others say is just a waste.

"Director Liu, how’s the patient?"

This ti Zhang Xiao also ca running over.

"Just sent to Ergency Room Three, I instructed them to give mannitol first, looks like the brain pressure is quite high," replied Liu Banxia.

"Alright, I’ll go take a look," Zhang Xiao nodded.

At this mont, the traffic police and a male colleague that Liu Banxia had seen before walked in.

Liu Banxia waved his hand, "Still in the ergency room, have to wait until the CT is done to get the final result."

"Ugh... I’m so unlucky, might have worked for nothing for half a year." The man complained.

"Your situation is a bit complicated. But don’t worry too much, you won’t have a lot of responsibility here." The traffic cop reassured him.

"I’m quite curious, didn’t hear clearly at the ti, what exactly happened?" Liu Banxia asked curiously.

"Sigh... it was just a coincidence." The traffic cop said.

"The sprinkler truck was sprinkling water, the delivery guy tried to avoid it and swerved to the side. The passenger who got off the car was supposedly watching, but the car door was open and the delivery guy ca over."

"It’s just that unlikely, so the accident involved quite a few people. The young girl was scared to tears. Let’s see the situation first, have to wait for the responsibility determination results before saying anything."

"Doctor, don’t you think I’m unlucky? I did remind them to get off from the right side door, it’s all on the dashcam. Just because it’s my car, I have to deal with it." The man said.

"It’s just sothing that happened, nothing you can do. Wait until the results co out, normally they all have accident insurance." Liu Banxia said.

"As long as craniotomy isn’t needed, the costs won’t be too high. Traffic safety is indeed very important these days. We see a case of traffic rule violations causing accidents every so often."

At this mont, Xu Yino and Liu Yiqing pushed out the female patient. After nodding to Liu Banxia, they pushed her away.

As for where they were taking her for further treatnt, Liu Banxia was not concerned for the mont. He’d done his part and put in the effort, that was completing his task.

"Teacher Liu, we’re taking the patient for a CT scan." Miao Rui followed, pushing the delivery guy out.

Liu Banxia nodded, "Dr. Zhang, this is the traffic cop handling the accident, what’s the situation?"

"Preliminary judgnt is that the intracranial pressure is a bit high. Let’s do the CT first, can’t make an accurate judgnt now." Zhang Xiao said.

"Okay, wait for Miao Rui to update you." Liu Banxia said.

"You too, just relax, the officer said the issue isn’t big with you. You weren’t parked in a no-parking zone and gave reminders, you’ve done your due diligence."

"Ugh... still unlucky. I just bought this car less than two months ago, and now this happened." The driver sighed.

"Officer, it’s not that I’m heartless, but I really can’t afford to cover the costs upfront. If I pay less, it’s not enough; if I pay more, I might not get it back."

The traffic cop looked at Liu Banxia; this matter was currently under his responsibility.

"We have so conveniences in ergency care, but we still need to contact his family soon. If craniotomy is really needed, a family mber has to sign, or there could be other issues." Liu Banxia said.

"My colleagues are also reaching out, need to figure out which outsourcing station it’s from. There are too many outsourcing stations now." The traffic cop said.

"Doesn’t your type of vehicle have insurance?" Liu Banxia asked the driver.

"Yes, we do, but no one wants to deal with this kind of thing. If it has nothing to do with , I can’t use insurance, otherwise, it’ll be hard to get insured next year." The driver said.

"Can’t really count on the company to handle this, what’s the company for? Mainly to collect transport fees and impose fines, that’s their main job."

Liu Banxia was amused; this guy was quite straightforward. Looking at his situation today, he really seed a bit wronged.

It’ll depend on his luck, if he’s really not at fault that’s a bit better, but even sharing a bit of the responsibility is an ungrounded disaster.

"Doctor, don’t laugh. At least I have a certified legitimate vehicle, without a certificate, it would’ve been over. Illegal operation, mud in the pants, even if it’s not dirt, it’s all dirt." The driver continued.

"How much can you earn in a month?" Liu Banxia asked curiously.

"Running desperately, working day and night, can earn about eight to ten thousand a month. But that’s gross, after fuel, als, insurance, and wear and tear, what’s left?" The driver said.

"Just have no other skills, just know how to drive. Can’t drive a truck, otherwise, I would’ve rather run with one. At least it’s the sa amount of hard work but sowhat more straightforward."

"I don’t even know if I can ever pay off this car, registered cars have shorter scrap years, it’s an operating vehicle."

"Nothing is easy; every job has its hardships. Just rest for a bit, you’ve done your part." Liu Banxia said with emotion.

It’s really not easy for anyone; thinking about the exhaustion of doctors, and looking at their toil, even if the nature is a bit different, it’s actually quite similar.

Life isn’t easy for anyone.
