"Shoutian, apologize." Zhou Li walked in.
"Sister Li, why should I apologize? I didn’t do anything wrong," Liu Banxia said, distressed.
Upon hearing Liu Banxia’s response, Liang Xiaolin felt even more aggrieved and resentful. Her shoulders started to tremble.
"Oh my, I just noticed there’s a wound on your waist. It doesn’t seem very serious, about three centiters long, I guess?" Liu Banxia gritted his teeth. He felt he had to take a gamble; otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to explain himself.
At his words, both Wang Ying and Zhou Li were taken aback. Liang Xiaolin, however, wasn’t startled and continued to glare at him stubbornly.
"Ah... it looks like she’s really hurt. It’s probably not noticeable because of her dark clothes. Doctor Liang, can I take a look?" Zhou Li glanced at her and said, a little surprised.
Liang Xiaolin hesitated. She didn’t feel any pain, but she nodded nonetheless.
Zhou Li lifted Liang Xiaolin’s top to find a scratch on the back of her left waist. It was a bit more than two centiters long and sowhat deep. There must have been considerable bleeding at the ti, as her pants were soaked with a large patch of blood, which had been hidden by her top.

"Lie down. Do you know how you got injured?" Liu Banxia asked out of habit once they were in Procedure Room 2.
Although the stubborn Liang Xiaolin lay down obediently, she refused to answer Liu Banxia’s question.
Zhou Li said with a helpless sigh, "Doctor Liang, could it be that you were injured along with the ergency patient from just now?"
"Um... she swerved to avoid a child while driving and ended up heading straight for . I dodged to the side and felt a bump at the ti, but I didn’t pay much attention to it," Liang Xiaolin said softly.
Liu Banxia lifted her clothes to get a better look at the wound. He had to admire this girl; one end of the wound surface was quite large, yet she had managed to endure it until now.
Taking out saline solution and iodophor, Liu Banxia cleaned the wound very carefully.
Lying on her stomach, Liang Xiaolin felt very frustrated. A stinging pain now ca from the wound, but it wasn’t as bad as she had imagined. She knew this was because Liu Banxia’s technique was good; he hadn’t pressed on her wound while cleaning and wiping it.

Finally, Liang Xiaolin responded to him, though her response was just a snort. She was still angry.
Zhou Li was genuinely amused. Liu Banxia was usually very popular at the Second Hospital; he could even chat easily with the patients who ca for treatnt. But today, this Liang Xiaolin was really giving him a run for his money. It was quite amusing.
"You need to be more modest in the future. Even though your academic qualifications are higher than mine, when it cos to experience, you really don’t have as much as I do," Liu Banxia said as he began to suture.
"Our hospital’s Cardiothoracic Surgery departnt is a top-tier departnt. Even among Binhai dical College students, not many can successfully compete for a residency training spot here at our Second Hospital."
"I also watched your actions during the ergency just now. You do have so foundation. Many newcors, upon seeing a scene like that, would basically be scared stiff, completely forgetting all the procedures and techniques they’d learned, unsure of where those mories even went."
"Are you annoying or what? Can you just suture properly?" Liang Xiaolin grumbled in frustration.
"I can’t. I’ve already finished. What else do you want to suture? Lie still, I’m applying the dressing. Alright, you can get up now. Go ahead and write your own doctor’s orders," Liu Banxia said.

After leaving these fierce words, Liang Xiaolin finally left.
Liu Banxia was stunned. "Sister Li, what does this girl eat to be so spirited? Who on earth did I offend?"
"Hehe, who did you offend? What do you think? How did it feel holding that little beauty?" Zhou Li asked with a mischievous smile, her hands behind her back.
Liu Banxia rolled his eyes and walked out. "I need to rest a bit; I have a surgery to lead this afternoon."
"Doctor Liu, we just received a notification that you have to attend a eting in the small conference room on the 8th floor of the main building."
Just as he reached the door, Xu Dan ran over anxiously.
Liu Banxia’s heart skipped a beat. He knew Old Qin was about to make his move.
