If it had been daylight, the entrance to the ergency center would have been bustling with people, preventing such a situation. But it was night, and the weather was so cold; who would be lingering here if they didn’t need ergency care?

He then noticed sothing else was amiss. The man who had just attacked him was now only rolling on the ground, and the knife he had been worried about had been tossed aside.
"Dr. Liu, your waist is bleeding a lot!" the nurse exclaid, startled after checking him.
The commotion outside drew more people from the ergency center. They were all shocked when they saw Liu Banxia’s condition. There was a significant amount of blood on the right side of his waist, staining a large patch of his white coat red.
"Bring that man in too. My injury isn’t serious; it should just need stitches," Liu Banxia said as he walked inside.
"My kick was quite powerful just now. I’m not sure if I damaged his internal organs. Anyway, he needs a thorough check-up. Have either Wang Chao or Qi Wentai do it. HISS."
He walked a bit too quickly, pulling at his wound, which made him grimace in pain.
Attacks on dical personnel had been frequently in the news these past two years. If not for their sense of duty, no one would have bothered with that scoundrel.
