"Thank you, Dr. Liu." Ma Limin gave Liu Banxia a sharp salute.
"She's Dazhuang's trainee, but she was away for advanced training a few days ago and missed all the commotion," Officer Zhao explained.
"Then you should hurry upstairs to the ward and see him. There's not much else here for now. We'll handle things when the patient's husband cos down to complete the paperwork," Liu Banxia suggested.
Ma Limin turned to look at Officer Zhao.
"Go on. In the hospital, we all listen to Dr. Liu," Officer Zhao said with a chuckle.
Ma Limin smiled, nodded, and hurried off again.
"Well... you have such young female officers in a demanding field like traffic police?" Liu Banxia asked.
