Wu Shaoming's condition is much more severe than Tang Feifei's and is also much more serious than Liu Banxia estimated.

His injury is an old one, accumulated from years of filming action scenes. Even though Liu Banxia gave his shoulder so massage treatnt, in terms of bearing stress, it will always be sowhat worse than normal.

But having done sothing about it is better than nothing. Even if Liu Banxia isn't a traditional Chinese dicine practitioner, his massage technique is very effective.

"Every day feels like there's endless work to do," Liu Banxia complained after walking out.

"Oh my, Teacher Liu, I am so envious. It's like you don't know the hunger of soone who's starving, such amazing technique," Xu Yino said.

"Then work hard and improve your technique, and while you're at it, bring more patients who need surgery," Liu Banxia replied.

"Rest assured, it's not just . Now, the entire ergency center's internal and surgical departnts are collaborating to find the first lucky patient for a NOSES surgery," Xu Yino said earnestly.

This amused Liu Banxia, "Coordinate their schedules. If you can arrange it, we can all have fun together. If not, that's okay, there will be more opportunities in the future."

"Once everything's arranged, let know, and I'll let President Qi know. It's an ergency, so he will understand. Besides, your usual workload is already enough, and now we have so many resident doctors and interns helping out."

Xu Yino nodded happily, it was okay as long as Liu Banxia had said this.

Even though it would be reasonable to take a break, it's not easy to explain when so many people are involved. With Liu Banxia speaking up, there was no problem. She was just worrying about this.

Back in the office, Liu Banxia pondered slightly over the completion of this task.

It might be because this was an on-site ergency surgery, which is tougher than usual operating table procedures. Moreover, the transition task's starting task was of level three, which is quite sufficient.

As for the system, there are no other changes now. Possibly because my level hasn't reached sixty yet. Otherwise, based on the system's usual behavior, there would surely be a change.

Let's keep looking forward to it, the more you look forward each day, the more colorful life will be.

"All done?" While Liu Banxia was enjoying the thought, Shi Lei walked in.

"All done, what's up?" Liu Banxia asked with a grin.

Shi Lei looked at him helplessly, "Didn't the director talk to you?"

Liu Banxia nodded, "He did, but don't take it to heart. This kind of distribution is normal. You're feeling a bit guilty, aren't you?"

Shi Lei was even more helpless, thinking, you know it and yet you still ask?

"Haha, you guys will need to bear it a bit tonight, I need to borrow the six little ones." Liu Banxia said.

"What's it for?" Shi Lei was curious and naturally knew there must be sothing going on.

Though the six little ones can't undertake major surgery responsibilities yet, with them around, the ergency center's admissions are flawlessly managed.

"Qing Kewa sneaked back, and Qiaoqiao is hoping for so fun. Just the right chance to take them all out for so fun after work," Liu Banxia said.

"No longer than four hours, then we can return so of them. I bet Xu Yino and Liu Yiqing will likely be left behind by Qiaoqiao."

Shi Lei nodded, "No problem, I'm on duty tonight anyway. With the three of us and so many resident doctors, we'll be able to manage."

"Besides, even if things get hectic occasionally, we can always borrow soone from cardiothoracic. It's not like all ergency patients are general surgery cases."

"Got a question for you: what thoughts do you have on that massive tumor patient? I've been racking my brain and still can't co up with a better plan."

"Boss, let put it this way. When that patient ca, I discussed it with the director. It wasn't as severe back then. The safest option is an autologous liver transplant to take out the tumor."

"Now, his condition has worsened a bit, and the tumor has grown in size. But from the current perspective, surgical indications are present, and the opportunity is promising."

"If we delay another month or so, I think it will be very dangerous. Right now, it's just because the tumor is large, making the surgery painstaking."

"Sigh... The director asked to think about whether there's a better plan. It's not easy to think of one, the main issue is the financial situation of the family," Shi Lei sighed.

"The decision hasn't been made yet because they don't have enough money. They've raised so money now, so the surgery can be completed. But there are also considerable postoperative costs, which are hard to support."

"No way around it, you're an experienced doctor, this kind of situation isn't rare, is it?" Liu Banxia said.

"The other day, I glanced over, and the expenses at our ergency center have increased quite a bit. The key issue is that so money hasn't been collected yet, which is quite worriso."

"I reckon, in a few more days, we'll also have to rein ourselves in a bit. Especially when rescuing so ergency patients, we have to gauge properly and make effective assessnts."

"Sigh... it's really distressing," Shi Lei also sighed.

Of course, everyone knows how to make these 'effective assessnts,' but for every doctor, they all want to save the patient.

If the patient's family is present, it's easier to handle; you can explain things to them, including the chances of successfully rescuing the patient and the estimated costs.

But so ergency patients are brought straight from the accident scenes, and it's impossible to contact their families, which becos a real test for the doctors.

How should we handle patients whose chances of success in rescue are very low?

Because miracles can still happen in this world, as long as there are signs of life, there's hope. Having hope doesn't an success is guaranteed, and if we fail, things get complicated.

"What do you think? Will the director co to discuss with you two?" Shi Lei asked.

"We'll wait for the director to make a decision, but this matter really has to be judged on-site," Liu Banxia said.

"We've all experienced patients like this; we just hope to contact their family soon. If we really can't, we'll have to handle it as it cos."

"It's not just us; actually, every hospital with an ergency departnt faces this issue. Blindly saving patients isn't feasible because you never know what kind of family you'll encounter."

"Additionally, once the rescue starts, many tis new equipnt is used, and the cost of dication and devices used is high. Sotis the family wishes to bear the cost but cannot afford it."

"I think it's hard to define this legally. How do you define it? It can only be based on the feeling on the scene. If there's a feeling there's a chance for rescue, you should give it a shot. If even you think there's no chance, don't force it."

"At least we're still doing individual accounting, so we're less constrained. As the number of patients increases, we do have so supplentary funds, but all expenses have also grown a lot."

"Now our ergency center has beco the first choice within a certain range for ergencies, and there are more patients brought in by ambulance. Anyway, it's going to get tougher in the future; we want to save lives and also protect ourselves."

"Today, while we were on standby, we were chatting, and a patient's family questioned whether there was excessive rescuing or dication at the city hospital."

"Review it bit by bit, analyze one procedure after another, whether that approach is reasonable. When it involves human lives, it's not sothing that's easily quantifiable."

"Luckily, I'm just an ordinary surgeon, so I don't have to worry too much about this; it's sothing for leaders like you to consider," Shi Lei said.

Liu Banxia rolled his eyes, "You should know the director's personality by now, right? He'll definitely delegate that authority to the front-line attending doctors. Including so ergency surgeries now, it's the operation first and approval later."

"Special cases handled specially; how can you review each one individually? That's why I find it distressing; too much deficit in the future, and the director will be under great pressure."

"But now we are receiving more patients, so at least it's a strong supplent. Don't overthink it; just be aware."

"Are you the Second Assist in the surgery the day after tomorrow?" Shi Lei asked.

Liu Banxia grinned, "I'm just observing, just watching the commotion. But I can bring in the Six Little Ones, and we'll see how the director arranges things."

"Sotis the director is quite casual when he's on stage. Anyway, this surgery is mainly for you; you should prepare more."

Shi Lei glared at him, knowing this guy was trying to increase the pressure on him.

"Teacher Liu, oh, Teacher Shi is here too. I've notified all of them, and Doctor Liang is available," Xu Yino ran in at this mont.

"Alright, I've talked to Dr. Shi; I'll just ntion it to President Qi, and it should be fine." Liu Banxia nodded.

Xu Yino ran out again, quite excited for the little gathering tonight.

"Alright, stop overthinking it. It's not your first ti on stage. You've got so much experience; what's there to panic about?" Liu Banxia said earnestly.

"Later on, we'll have to et with everyone to discuss the rescue of patients. I don't think we should wait until the director is overwheld and cos to us. Let's co up with a decent plan ourselves first."

Shi Lei nodded, "Probably as you said, making effective judgnts based on what's happening on-site. The key is to contact the family, making sure they face less regret."

"That's more like it. You go ahead and keep busy. I'll go find President Qi and talk," Liu Banxia said with a smile.

This was also his thought, the principle of the hospital is to respect the decisions of the patients and their families. Often, doctors don't have the authority to act on behalf of patients and their families.
