Chapter 1140: ylin Chapter 1140: ylin Cain was taken aback by the young woman’s coldness, which was powerful enough to make his instincts react and send a chill down his spine.

As he reflected on the situation, his expression beca complicated.

He understood why she was upset.

After all, no woman would appreciate being regarded as a piece of at by soone they knew nothing about.

However, it wasn’t truly his fault.

While Cain was a young and virile man, the Power of Order granted him imnse control over his emotions, and his willpower was at a level far beyond the typical temptations of re beauty.

Only won like his wives, Shura and Astrid, could stir his heart and desires.

Cain couldn’t understand why the Eye of Gluttony had reacted toward the woman.

His emotions had never been so out of control, at least not within the Crimson World.

Deep down, he realized it wasn’t his own lust sparking the reaction-sothing else was at play.

However, there was no ti to focus on that now.

Everyone in the hall was staring at him after the saintess’s cold glare, and the situation had grown even more complicated.

Cain could offer many explanations for his behavior, but he had never been one to shy away from his actions.

He was prepared to take responsibility for the misunderstanding.

Unfortunately, before he could speak, a sneering voice echoed from the South Coast Alliance.

“Hmph, Abaddon.

How shaful for you to display your lust so openly.

Are you nothing more than a beast driven by desire?” The one who spoke was none other than Aurelius Arken, clearly trying to recover from his earlier blunder.

The dragons of the Tiamat Sect stiffened at Aurelius’ words.

Although they always supported their comrades, they had to admit that Cain’s actions had caused so embarrassnt, especially since the Tiamat Sect prided itself on discipline and emotional control.

Cain’s eyes narrowed as he glanced at Aurelius but chose not to engage him.

Instead, he turned to the saintess, clasped his hands respectfully, and perford a formal bow.

He spoke with sincerity, “I apologize for my rude behavior.” The Grand Elders and the other dragons smiled approvingly.

Anyone could make a mistake, but true strength lies in accepting responsibility with dignity.

Of course, not everyone was ready to let things pass so easily.

Aurelius, never one to miss an opportunity to escalate the conflict, sneered and continued, “Hmph, do you think a simple apology is enough?

You should kneel before the Moon Cult.” Before Aurelius could finish his sentence, a powerful voice cut through the tension in the hall.

“Shut up, garbage!” The one who shouted wasn’t from the Tiamat Sect but the young saintess herself, who had just been glaring coldly at Cain monts earlier.

Her voice carried a burning rage, shocking everyone in the room as she rebuked Aurelius, who had been seemingly trying to defend her honor.

For a brief mont, her calm exterior shattered, revealing her fiery temperant.

The outburst was unexpected, and her face reflected an intense anger that seed out of character for the poised figure she had shown monts before.

The young woman’s eyes widened as she realized her outburst.

She quickly regained her composure and quelled the fury and shock that had assaulted her heart and mind.

After a mont, she turned to Aurelius with a cold, unflinching gaze.

“Since when does the Sacred Saintess of the Moon Cult need anyone to defend her honor?

Keep your white-knight act to yourself.” Her sharp words silenced Aurelius, leaving him fuming but unable to respond.

The entire hall was stunned, not just by her sudden outburst but by the way she had completely shut him down.

With a dismissive glance at Aurelius, the saintess then turned her attention to Cain.

Her expression softened slightly, and she murmured the na “Abaddon” under her breath with a aningful light in her eyes before nodding toward him.

Without another word, she shifted her focus forward as if dismissing the entire incident.

Lady Alu was visibly surprised by the young woman’s reaction.

She knew her well, and her composure was typically unshakable.

To see her lose control like this, even for a mont, was highly unusual.

However, sensing that the saintess had no desire to dwell on the matter, Lady Alu decided to move forward with the discussion.

“Allow to present to you all our Sacred Saintess of the Three Moons-ylin,” Lady Alu announced, her voice once again commanding the attention of the room.

ylin, the Sacred Saintess, stood tall and regal.

Her earlier fury was now completely hidden beneath her composed exterior.

Her beauty was undeniable, but it was her presence-her quiet strength and the cold fury she had shown-that had left the greatest impression on everyone.

The mbers of the South Coast Alliance exchanged uneasy glances but kept their silence.

Despite their anger at how the saintess had dismissed Aurelius, none dared to challenge her directly.

The authority she carried as the Sacred Saintess of the Moon Cult made it clear that questioning her wasn’t an option.

anwhile, the warriors of the Sun Church studied ylin intently, trying to gauge her significance.

Her calm deanor, mixed with that fiery outburst, intrigued them, but they remained cautious, understanding that she was not to be taken lightly.

As for the dragons of the Tiamat Sect, they smiled knowingly.

They appreciated how she had allowed Cain’s slip-up to pass without further complication while shutting down their enemies.

Grand Elder Kryos, in particular, watched her with approval.

She had acted with poise, diffusing the situation in a way that benefited the Tiamat Sect.

Cain himself was grateful but more curious than anything else.

Though he had managed to suppress the overwhelming desire sparked by the Eye of Gluttony, the question still lingered-why had it reacted to her?

His thoughts swirled as he tried to make sense of it, but there was little ti to dwell on it.

Sensing the mont had passed, Lady Alu waved her hand, and the massive tree began to shift and unfold, granting access to its inner crown.
