Chapter 1179: Cain vs the South Coast Alliance (IV) Chapter 1179: Cain vs the South Coast Alliance (IV) Cain reacted to the attack with urgency and focus, the sudden burst of soul force from before seemingly fading from his mind.

He braced himself as the combined might of the Stellar Abyss Legends bore down upon him, lightning and fire exploding from his body.

The scarlet dragonborn’s eyes blazed with determination.

Cain summoned all his abilities, shadows swirling around him as he activated Shadow Master to enhance his agility, along with his Weight Manipulation, allowing him to shift his mass and montum instantly.

He dodged the lightning bolt shot by the Lightning Knight and the spear of fire that fell from the sky; however, he was still forced to the ground-sothing the Stellar Abyss Legends took advantage of to close the range and reduce the space he had to maneuver.

Amir’s hamr smashed into the ground where Cain had stood monts before, the impact creating a crater and sending shockwaves rippling outward.

Cain used Earthquake Blow to neutralize the shockwaves of the Stellar Abyss Legends and then dashed toward the man, delivering a swift kick that the warrior barely blocked with his hamr’s handle.

The force behind that kick was imnse, but Amir knew how essential it was not to give space to the scarlet dragonborn.

Starlight flowed over his body, enhancing his resistance and allowing him to hold his ground.

It was just a few seconds, but Robert seized the opportunity, releasing a torrent of lightning point-blank upon the scarlet dragonborn.

“Lightning Barrage!” Cain crossed his arms, forming a shadow barrier that absorbed the initial bolts, but the relentless assault began to crack his defenses.

Sensing the imminent breach, Cain dissipated into shadows just as a massive bolt shattered his barrier, dashing upward, trying to gain space.

Unfortunately, just as Cain attempted to reach the sky, he found himself facing Amanta’s fiery spears.

“You won’t escape this ti!” she shouted, directing the spears toward him with a flick of her wrist.

Cain took a deep breath and unleashed a blast of fire and lightning from his maw.

Explosions erupted in the sky as the energies collided, illuminating the entire Glass Do with blinding light.

He countered the descending spears but still stopped his advance midway.

In that blinding mont, Aurelius struck.

His Ice Age Avatar’s tail snapped upward, catching Cain off-guard.

The tail slamd into Cain’s side, the freezing temperature biting into his scales and sending him hurtling toward the ground.

He crashed with a thunderous impact, the ground cracking beneath him.

Cesar didn’t hesitate.

“Now!” he roared, descending upon Cain with his fists clenched, ready to deliver a crushing blow.

Cain pushed his body to the limit; if there was one attack he could not receive, it was that of Cesar.

He dashed to the side just as the massive demonic being’s fists demolished the spot where he’d landed, debris flying in all directions.

Unfortunately, such a hasty dodge left Cain full of openings, and before he could recover, Amir and Robert were upon him again, coordinating their attacks with deadly precision.

Amir swung his hamr horizontally while Robert thrust his lightning-infused spear.

Cain managed to use his right hand to counter the hamr, but the spear pierced into his shoulder, electricity searing his flesh.

He grimaced, retaliating with a sweeping kick that forced both attackers to retreat montarily.

The coordinated efforts of the Stellar Abyss Legends were pushing the scarlet dragonborn to his limits.

Their teamwork was impeccable, their attacks relentless, and it seed it was only a matter of ti before they succeeded.

“BOOM!” “BOOM!” “BOOM!” “BAOOOOOOM!” “CRACK!” In less than five seconds, dozens of explosions, kinetic blasts, and shattering sounds echoed across the dinsion, indicating a simply overwhelming and high-speed exchange between Cain and the Stellar Abyss Legends.

Finally, the scarlet dragonborn was blasted toward the do’s edge, blood leaking from his maw.

“Did we get him?” Robert asked, his eyes fixed on the dust settling around Cain’s position.

Cesar remained cautious.

“Stay alert.

He’s not defeated yet.” But then, an unsettling feeling crept over them.

Sothing was off.

The air felt heavier, and a strange silence pressed upon their ears.

It was as if reality itself was wavering.

Amir frowned.

“Do you feel that?” Aurelius’s serpent eyes narrowed.

“Sothing’s not right.” Their instincts scread danger.

They all turned toward Lawrence and the other spellcasters, who stood eerily still, their eyes vacant and unfocused.

“Lawrence?” Cesar called out, concern edging into his voice.

The spellcasters didn’t respond.

They remained motionless, gazing blankly ahead.

Realization struck the Stellar Abyss Legends, who had been fighting the scarlet dragonborn like a bolt of lightning.

A cold chuckle echoed around them.

“Good instincts,” Cain’s voice resonated, dripping with mockery.

The world around them began to shatter like fragnted glass.

The battlefield, the wounds they’d inflicted, even the air- all faded, revealing a different reality.

They spun around to find Cain standing behind them, his massive fifty-thousand-ter-long dragon form towering above.

His eyes glead with triumph as he tossed the limp bodies of Lawrence and the two spellcasters into his maw.

“No!” Cesar shouted, horror etching across his face.

Cain swallowed, the deed done.

“But not fast enough,” he finished, his voice rumbling like distant thunder.

The remaining Stellar Abyss Legends stood in shock, their minds reeling as they were still confused by all that had happened.

To be fair, it was no wonder they were tricked, as what they fell for was Illusion Master, which Cain had evolved into the Void Eclipse Tier.

The ability was no longer restricted to putting soone’s mind in an illusion or hindering their senses; it could project an illusion into the world, capable of tricking multiple individuals, and Cain did it when he unleashed that burst of soul force.

Of course, such power consud a massive amount of his energy and soul force.

Luckily, the scarlet dragon felt how his reserves were being restored thanks to consuming Lawrence and the other two Stellar Abyss Legendary spellcasters. To tell the truth, if Cain had not managed to take down the trio and consu them before Cesar and the others discovered the illusion, he would have been too exhausted to continue fighting.

It was a bet and one he had won.
