Chapter 1247: Break the flow Chapter 1247: Break the flow Finally, as he reached the midpoint of the fifth level, the blood rain ceased.

The clouds above parted, and the oppressive atmosphere lightened ever so slightly.

Cain slowed his pace, coming to a halt.

He took a mont to look back at the vast expanse he had traversed.

A sense of accomplishnt filled him.

Not only had he overco the physical obstacle, but he had also attained a deeper understanding of a profound truth.

His mastery over the Oniric Truth of Blood had grown significantly, and he knew this would serve him well in the trials to co.

“Perhaps now, the path ahead will be clearer,” Cain mused, a faint smile touching his lips, but deep down, he knew it would only be more complicated.

The sense of difficulty did not make Cain afraid; in fact, it invigorated him.

After all, the more complex the challenge, the more he would gain by surpassing it.

Without hesitation or dread, he marched forward, his senses sharp and ready to react to any danger.

The scarlet dragonborn didn’t have to wait long.

Less than five minutes after overcoming the bloody rain, Cain’s eyes widened as he sensed a sudden shift in the atmosphere.

Instinctively, he leaped into the air just as massive tentacles of blood erupted from the ocean below, wrapping around where he had just stood.

The tentacles, each as thick as ancient trees, did not relent after missing their target.

They twisted and lunged toward Cain with overwhelming speed, slicing through the air with a terrifying whoosh.

Cain frowned as he dodged the onslaught.

The tentacles moved with uncanny agility, and soon, they were upon him again, forcing him to act.

Clenching his fists, Cain channeled his energy and delivered a ferocious blow to one of the approaching tentacles.

The impact was imnse, shattering the tip of the bloody appendage into a spray of crimson droplets.

However, his montary triumph was short-lived.

To his shock, the tentacle regenerated almost instantly, the severed tip reforming as if nothing had happened.

The tentacles pressed their attack, now accompanied by half a dozen more rising from the ocean’s depths.

Cain gritted his teeth as he engaged in a fierce battle with the writhing mass.

He unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks, each strike aid with precision.

His movents were a blur, dodging and weaving between the tentacles as they lashed out from all directions.

Despite his efforts, his attacks only managed to destroy the tips of the tentacles, leaving the rest of their massive forms unhard.

The relentless regeneration made it clear that brute force alone would not be enough.

The tentacles moved with a coordinated intelligence, anticipating his evasions and cutting off his paths of escape.

As Cain attempted to move forward, more tentacles erged, their sheer numbers creating a nearly impenetrable barrier.

The space around him beca a labyrinth of twisting, churning blood, each tentacle seeking to ensnare him.

At one point, a tentacle struck from below, catching him off guard.

It coiled around his leg with surprising strength, pulling him toward the ocean’s surface.

Before he could react, several more tentacles wrapped around his arms and torso, encasing him in a cocoon of pulsating crimson.

Silence echoed for a mont, the only sound being the ominous sloshing of the blood ocean beneath.

“Yin-Yang Lightning Fire Gluttonous Berserker Dragon Breath!” A brilliant light erupted from within the tentacle prison.

A massive plasma beam, a fusion of lightning and fire, blasted forth, tearing through the tentacles that held Cain captive.

The explosive force shattered the bloody bindings, sending fragnts splattering in all directions.

Cain erged from the destruction, and his body wreathed in residual energy, eyes sharp and focused.

However, his relief was fleeting.

To his dismay, the scattered pieces of the tentacles began to regenerate almost imdiately.

The blood coalesced, the tentacles reford, and they resud their assault without pause.

Realizing the futility of his current approach, Cain propelled himself backward, retreating to a safer distance in the middle of the Sanguine Area, where the tentacles seed less aggressive.

He landed lightly on a solid outcropping, taking a mont to assess the situation.

A solemn light appeared in his eyes as he gazed at the bloody ocean afar.

His instincts remained on high alert; those tentacles were a genuine threat.

“My attacks can only damage a small part of them,” he mused aloud.

“And they regenerate instantly.

There are simply too many to tackle head-on.” A thought crossed his mind.

“If I use the synergy between the Oniric Truth of Destruction and Reaper Touch, maybe my attacks would carry the power to break apart the tentacles completely.” But he imdiately shook his head, dismissing the idea. Even if that approach could work, Cain knew each part of the trial had a purpose.

Finding shortcuts might only complicate the path forward.

He needed to defeat the bloody tentacles the right way, but it was easier said than done.

Taking a deep breath, Cain gazed back at the path he had traversed before refocusing on the road ahead.

“Before, the goal was to harmonize with the flow of blood,” he reflected.

“Now that I’m facing tentacles of blood, I should…” His eyes glowed with aningful light as realization dawned upon him.

Without wasting another mont, he dived forward.

As expected, the blood tentacles appeared again, surging toward his figure with predatory intent.

The scarlet dragonborn rose into the sky, nimbly dodging as the tentacles attempted to catch him.

His mind and soul honed in on the blood inside each appendage.

He could sense the flow, the rhythm that gave them form and movent.

One of the tentacles caught up to him, appearing directly in his path and lashing out to ensnare him.

Instead of evading, Cain t it head-on.

He unleashed a palm strike, his hand glowing faintly.

There was no overwhelming power or explosive energy in that strike.

It was subtle and controlled.

The mont his palm made contact with the bloody tentacle, sothing extraordinary happened.

The entire tentacle-not just the tip-trembled violently.

Ripples spread along its length as the cohesive structure began to unravel.

In an instant, the tentacle lost its form, transforming back into simple blood that cascaded down into the ocean below.

A wide smile appeared on Cain’s face as he witnessed the result.

“I need to break the flow of blood that gives them form.”
