Chapter 1512: Hunted by a Prima Deity Chapter 1512: Hunted by a Prima Deity Cain’s eyes narrowed at the Sky Sovereign’s revelation, and a solemn expression erged.

In truth, he did not particularly care about the ancient being’s failed attempt at possession; there were far more pressing matters to worry about right now.

However, one point continued to bother him-the sheer amount of ti involved.

“Does the soul of a Prima Deity really endure for that long?” Cain asked, his tone reflecting both curiosity and wariness.

“From what I’ve learned, you supposedly perished more than thirty million years ago.” Cain knew Divine Transcendence Masters could live for hundreds of thousands of years.

A few, wielding specialized thods to protect their bodies and souls, might even surpass a million years of life.

While he had no precise knowledge of a Prima Deity’s natural lifespan, he had guessed they might endure for around ten million years at most.

The idea that the Sky Sovereign’s soul had persisted for triple that span-thirty million years-without the support of a living body was nearly impossible to grasp.

Of course, Cain did not pose the question out of re curiosity; he needed a clearer picture of the Sky Sovereign’s true capabilities.

If this ancient soul fragnt was powerful enough to survive so long, then it stood to reason that its might was still considerable-perhaps enough to beco a significant threat or a vital ally. The Sky Sovereign t Cain’s gaze unflinchingly.

He seed to understand that further secrecy would serve no purpose.

“Even if I had never sustained my fatal wounds,” the ancient being said, “my body would, indeed, have perished of natural causes by now.

However, the reason I’ve managed to survive until this mont is simple: before my death, my willpower reached the level of an Archdeity.

That achievent allowed my ego to linger through countless years of hibernation, preserving my essence long after my physical form failed.” Cain’s eyes widened, and a deeper, more cautious look surfaced on his face.

If the Sky Sovereign had advanced his willpower beyond the threshold of a Prima Deity, it ant that his skills and potential knowledge were unimaginable-even with only a remnant of his soul left.

Such power demanded extre vigilance.

On the one hand, Cain could not deny the allure of tapping into this trove of ancient cultivation knowledge. However, all that could wait as there were more pressing matters to attend to.

Glancing up, Cain inspected the sky of his Soul Dinsion.

The ominous spiderweb-like mark lood, radiating a faint sense of inevitability. “You said you could help with this,” Cain said, voice tight with urgency.

“You call it a Karmic Seal-explain what it is.” The Sky Sovereign wasted no ti, replying in a steady tone that seed laced with centuries of accumulated knowledge.

“A Karmic Seal is a tracking tool,” he began.

“It is placed by either a Pri Deity who controls Laws or power related to causality and karma or by an ArchDeity following the Essence Evolution Path of Power.

It links to the currents of causality itself, ensuring that whoever placed this mark on you can determine your location-no matter how far you run or what barriers you hide behind.” Cain’s eyes widened again, and he stared at the mark in the Soul Dinsion’s sky with a growing sense of dread.

He knew that only a Third Realm entity could attach sothing so potent.

For such an entity to bother marking him, the logic was simple: they intended to find him-and end him.

His thoughts whirled, sifting through the list of possible suspects.

One na leaped to mind: Leorio’s father, a powerful Third Realm cultivator from the Lord-Tier Eclipse School.

Yet, Cain had been monitoring Leorio’s condition via the Leviathan Shadows he had planted in the young man’s heart.

After returning to the Eclipse School, Leonard was placed directly into a healing chamber, and no one had discovered the phantom-winged serpent lodged within him.

There seed no pressing reason for them to send a Third Realm powerhouse after Cain-at least, not this quickly or with such a decisive thod as a Karmic Seal.

Discarding that theory, Cain next considered the Gu Sect.

He had betrayed Lady Azure and the Night Prince, who would eagerly seek his death if given the chance.

Still, how could they have mobilized a Third Realm cultivator?

Lady Azure might be formidable, but even an extrely powerful Divine Transcendence Master should be unable to draw the attention of a Prima Deity. In the face of this conundrum, one truth stood firm: soone powerful-very powerful-wanted Cain dead badly enough to employ a cosmic-level seal. “Can you erase it?” Cain asked, at last, eyes tinged with hope.

For a fleeting mont, the possibility of release sparked inside him.

But that spark was imdiately snuffed out by the Sky Sovereign’s stoic response.

“I can,” the phantom said, “but not instantly.

I have grown too weak after so many years without a body or a stable Soul Dinsion of my own.

It would take at least a year to remove it fully.

Right now, my best option is to lock or mask the seal’s signal for two-maybe three-months at most.

After that, the Karmic Seal will adapt, and there’ll be no stopping it.” Cain exhaled slowly, his expression turning grim.

On one hand, even partial suppression was better than nothing.

On the other, three months of cloaking followed by nine months of being completely exposed might as well be a death sentence.

Even half a year was more than ample ti for a determined Third Realm adversary to locate and kill him repeatedly if needed-no matter how many tis or how far he tried to flee.

A hard light flickered in Cain’s eyes as he locked his gaze on the imprisoned phantom.

His tone, low and edged with lethal intent, made his threat unambiguous.

“I hope you understand that if I die, you die with .” A tense silence settled.

The implication was clear.

The Sky Sovereign, who had once tried to steal Cain’s body, now found himself tethered to Cain’s continued existence.

For him to withhold any hidden abilities or knowledge would be a grave mistake. Cain intended to make sure his passenger understood that they shared the sa fate-if the hunter arrived and succeeded in slaying Cain, the Sky Sovereign’s fragntary soul would vanish alongside him.
