Chapter 1715: Martin’s death

The battle in the Twin Dragon Mountains escalated rapidly to an unprecedented and destructive level, sending devastating shockwaves reverberating outward in all directions.

Fortunately for the landscape of the Endlessdeath Continent, the massive mountains of the Twin Dragons served as formidable barriers, containing the widespread annihilation and limiting the catastrophic effects of the colossal clash between the warring factions.

In the midst of this chaos, Cain, disguised as Jarkal, fought relentlessly against Martin, the Crown Prince of the Golden Star Kingdom, unleashing every ounce of his formidable power.

Cain’s eyes glead sharply, thodically targeting Martin’s vital points without rcy. His massive treant-like form continuously generated branches and roots, which seamlessly transford into monstrous entities and deadly weapons, blending flesh, shadow, and flas into an unstoppable onslaught.

Cain was neither feigning weakness nor pulling punches—his every strike carried genuine killing intent, driven not rely by personal animosity toward Martin, but by an intricate and ticulously orchestrated goal.

Martin, however, was far from defenseless. The Crown Prince fought back with exceptional ferocity, clawing fiercely at the titanic treant composed of shadows and fire, tearing sizable chunks from Cain’s monstrous form. While these injuries appeared severe, they barely impacted Cain’s true strength.

Nevertheless, Cain artfully exaggerated the severity of each wound, manipulating the perceptions of both Martin and the observers, suggesting that every blow inflicted on him carried significant damage, thus maintaining the illusion of vulnerability.

Amid his fierce confrontation with Martin, Cain maintained vigilant attention to the cataclysmic battle unfolding between Michael and Zoro. Each passing mont of their confrontation was ticulously observed by Cain, who carefully analyzed every subtlety, nuance, and secret of the white stag’s imnse capabilities, absorbing valuable intelligence for his future plans.

Finally, after an exhausting hour and a half of relentless combat since they triggered their Liberación Total, Cain’s keen eyes sharpened perceptibly. Observing Michael closely, he noticed the escalating severity of the white stag’s injuries, recognizing that the mont of Michael’s inevitable retreat was rapidly approaching.

“Now!” Cain shouted ntally, seizing the perfect mont for decisive action. With no hesitation, he dramatically detonated the imnse energies sustaining his treant form, allowing the shadow and fla essence to burst forth spectacularly.

Without warning, his entire being unraveled instantly, every root, branch, and fiber transforming into grotesque abominations of shadow and fire that lunged toward Martin from every conceivable angle.

Martin’s eyes widened in alarm, caught completely off-guard by this overwhelming assault. Before he could mount any defense, the monstrous manifestations converged upon him, triggering a cataclysmic explosion.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!”

The powerful blast reverberated throughout the battlefield, instantly capturing the attention of all combatants. Monts later, as the smoke, shadows, and flas slowly cleared, Martin erged.

He was no longer rged with his Alter-Ego, clearly illustrating the devastating impact of Cain’s attack. Badly wounded and visibly weakened, he still clung stubbornly to life.

Yet, before Martin could celebrate his miraculous survival, Jarkal suddenly appeared right before him. Given that Jarkal followed the Essence Evolution Path of Power, no one—including Martin himself—anticipated such reckless bravery. For an instant, the Crown Prince hesitated, confused and stunned by the audacity of his enemy.

Without the slightest hesitation, Jarkal reached out, placing his hands directly before Martin’s chest. A colossal surge of burning life force and concentrated soul energy erupted violently, triggering another trendous explosion at point-blank range.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!”

This second explosion was even more intense than the first, completely engulfing both Jarkal and Martin in a blinding inferno. For a tense second, uncertainty gripped the battlefield until Jarkal’s figure suddenly erged from the fiery chaos.

Gravely injured, he hastily retreated into the distance, leaving no trace of Martin behind. The Crown Prince of the Golden Star Kingdom had been utterly obliterated.

A heavy silence imdiately settled over the battlefield. The death of a Prima Deity resonated powerfully among those present, serving as a harsh reminder of their mortality, especially poignant for the forces from the Golden Star Kingdom.

Conversely, the Prima Deities from the Endlessdeath Continent felt a surge of morale, elation sweeping through their ranks at the sudden turn of events.

Even Michael, who had always harbored suspicions about Jarkal’s true allegiance, could not deny what he had just witnessed. It seed unthinkable that Jarkal could be anything other than loyal. After all, what kind of madman would willingly kill a powerful ally rely to protect a disguise?

But just as Michael entertained that thought, a sudden explosion erupted in the distance—the precise direction in which Jarkal had fled.

“BOOOOOOMMMM!”

This new explosion bore a signature mixture of laws and stellar power familiar to everyone present. Imdiately, recognition swept across the battlefield, causing shivers of apprehension.

“Cain Laurifer!”

His na echoed ominously in the minds of every Prima Deity present. Michael’s thoughts raced with confusion and alarm. While he urgently wanted confirmation of Jarkal’s condition, Michael knew better than to linger in his current, dangerously weakened state.

“Dammit!” the Deus Behemoth roared in frustration. Without hesitation, he decisively issued an urgent command: “Retreat!”

Although they had successfully eliminated a powerful enemy Prima Deity, victory still eluded them. Jarkal had vanished without a trace, his condition uncertain, and the notorious Cain Laurifer approached rapidly. It was strategically prudent to withdraw now rather than risk further catastrophic losses.

Instantly, Michael reverted to his normal form, swiftly retreating alongside his fellow Prima Deities of the Endlessdeath Continent, racing away into the horizon.

Observing Michael’s retreat, a sharp glint appeared in Zoro’s eyes. He saw a fleeting opportunity to pursue and perhaps eliminate Michael permanently. Yet, just as Zoro prepared to chase after his weakened opponent, Cain’s voice abruptly pierced his consciousness through the communication device.

“Lord Zoro, be careful—there are traps ahead!”

“What traps!? Where are you!?” Zoro demanded urgently, confusion and suspicion evident in his voice. He received no response, a silence that only deepened his frustration.

Unfortunately, this brief distraction was enough for Michael to put significant distance between them, disappearing into the protective depth of his territory.

Zoro’s fists clenched tightly, recognizing bitterly that his opportunity had slipped away.
