Chapter 1729: Fifth Gear

“CRACK!”

It began with faint, hairline fractures, but in the next instant, the barrier shattered completely. A roaring column of flas and shadows surged forth, violently slamming into Divine Calamity’s back. Simultaneously, Cain drove his Shooting Star Dragon Halberd forward with unstoppable montum, aiming straight for the Oga Clone’s chest.

Yet even without the defensive guard, Divine Calamity’s Oga Clone was not entirely helpless. A nearly invisible layer of gravitational energy cloaked his body, halting the halberd’s advance and suppressing the fiery onslaught re inches from his skin.

Just as Divine Calamity felt relief from surviving the unexpected assault, Cain unleashed an explosive roar.

“ARRRRGGGHHH!”

Cain’s shout reverberated across the battlefield, shaking the fabric of reality. In that mont, a phantom silver star materialized faintly around his head, its ethereal presence exponentially amplifying his physical prowess beyond anything he had shown before.

But this was only the beginning.

“ROOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRR!”

Lord of Conquest Leviathan joined Cain’s ferocious cry, its entire being erupting in crimson flas. Without hesitation, Cain activated Will Sublimation, sacrificing the Alter-Ego’s life force to drastically increase his power. This choice would prevent him from initiating his Liberación Total later in the fight, but the imdiate gain in strength was more than worth the cost.

“CRACK!”

Another brutal cracking noise rang out, louder and clearer than before, as Cain’s halberd finally broke through the gravitational shield protecting the Oga Clone. The weapon’s tip tore violently into Divine Calamity’s flesh, muscle, and bones, burrowing deeply into his chest like a teor ripping through the heart of a world.

“AHHHHHHH!”

Divine Calamity unleashed an agonized scream. Unbearable pain surged throughout his body as the halberd carved through him, flooding his insides with flas of incomparable intensity. The relentless montum pushed him further down into the inferno of shadow and fire that consud him from behind.

Though the Oga Clone wielded destructive power and spell potency beyond the boundaries of the Prima Deity rank, the physical toughness and resilience of its body were fundantally lacking.

Divine Calamity was primarily an Essence Evolution Cultivator, and despite his extraordinary capabilities, even he could not conjure a physical form rivaling that of a true Astral Rebirth ArchDeity.

The intertwined forms of Cain and Divine Calamity plumted downward, engulfed entirely by the blazing maelstrom until they finally crashed into the earth below.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!”

The impact created a catastrophic explosion that reverberated across the entire Endlessdeath Continent. Shockwaves from the collision were sensed by all Prima Deities on the continent, yet following Michael’s recent death, no one dared to move carelessly.

Without a clear understanding of the situation, none would risk venturing outside their strongholds. For now, this cataclysmic battle would remain undisturbed.

From the epicenter of the blast, a furious roar filled with murderous intent erupted.

“ARGHHHHH!”

A pulse of overwhelming gravitational energy exploded outward from Divine Calamity, scattering the consuming flas and shadows and forcefully knocking Cain backward.

The devastating gravitational shockwave was nearly unbearable; Cain’s internal organs trembled violently. Were it not for his formidable physical defenses and the reinforced adaptability granted by his newly mastered Proto-Laws, several of his bones would have shattered instantly.

At the bottom of the smoking crater stood Divine Calamity’s Oga Clone, now gravely wounded. A gaping, smoldering hole pierced the right side of his chest, obliterating one of his lungs. On his back, an even deeper wound exposed scorched flesh and bone.

Gone was the cold, aloof expression he once wore; now, his features contorted into monstrous fury.

Even though it was rely an Oga Clone, the idea of being severely wounded by a re Prima Deity was a humiliation Divine Calamity could not tolerate. Now, fueled by rage, he was utterly determined to pulverize Cain’s body and obliterate his soul from existence, even if his Lord had not already commanded it.

Divine Calamity swiftly raised his right hand, pointed it directly toward Cain, and clenched his fist in a crushing gesture. The simplicity of the movent belied its devastating power—Cain imdiately felt an indescribable danger.

Without a nanosecond of hesitation, Cain shifted sideways at maximum speed, barely escaping the fate awaiting him. In the exact spot he had vacated, space itself violently collapsed inward, crushed by infinite gravitational force. Reality itself seed to fold and break apart under the imnse pressure.

Divine Calamity growled, teeth grinding together in frustration as Cain continued to evade his gravity traps. Again and again, he pointed his hand, creating pockets of space that collapsed inward with deadly intent, attempting to ensnare and crush Cain.

Cain’s eyes sharpened to their utmost as he swiftly dodged left and right, weaving through the chaotic field of gravitational collapse. With each movent, he closed the distance between himself and Divine Calamity, pushing forward relentlessly.

Within less than a second, Cain closed the gap, appearing before the Oga Clone with halberd poised to strike. Yet, a disdainful sneer appeared on Divine Calamity’s face, confident in his escape thod.

In an instant, gravitational forces manipulated his body’s mass, executing a gravitational slingshot that hurled him hundreds of kiloters away, safely beyond Cain’s reach.

Imdiately after repositioning, Divine Calamity began charging another spiraling gravitational lance. Though slower to manifest, this attack was far harder to evade. Cain clenched his teeth, focusing his energy and retaliating fiercely with his halberd.

“BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!”

The lance detonated in a massive gravitational explosion that violently sucked Cain inward before blasting him away with overwhelming force.

Cain tumbled through the earth, blood erupting from his mouth, internal organs shaking, and multiple bones fracturing under the assault. Yet despite the pain, he refused to be immobilized, swiftly stabilizing himself and launching upward into the sky.

Divine Calamity sneered, again forming pockets of gravitational collapse to restrict Cain’s movents while preparing another strategic retreat. Cain reached Divine Calamity once more, but the Oga Clone predictably triggered his gravitational slingshot to evade the strike again.

But this ti, history would not repeat itself. Just as Divine Calamity moved to escape, Cain uttered two decisive words.
