"Just how strong is the Demon King?"
That question echoed in Cain’s mind, shaking the foundations of everything he thought he knew. Until now, he had believed himself to have a solid understanding of the power hierarchy within the universe—especially after encountering ArchDeities in the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe, a realm that represented the very peak of that universe.
Yet this revelation shattered that belief entirely.
Defeating an ArchDeity was one thing. But killing one who possessed an Eternal Kingdom? That was sothing else entirely. Within their Eternal Kingdoms, ArchDeities were virtually invincible. The synergy between their power and the vast cosmic structure made them untouchable, even by other ArchDeities. For the Demon King to achieve such a feat ant he wasn’t just stronger—he stood beyond the evolutionary scale they had co to know.
Tiamat watched them closely, her gaze sharp yet warm, seeing the hunger for knowledge blazing in their eyes. A small, almost nostalgic smile touched her lips—an echo of her own past, when she too had burned with that sa relentless curiosity.
She didn’t leave them waiting long.
"The Demon King is an Alpha-Oga OverGod—the highest rank known to the Crimson World."
Her words hit like a celestial hamr, heavy and absolute. A solemn light burned in her ancient eyes as she spoke, the air around her crackling faintly with residual power.
"They are absolute and immortal. Their lifespan is not bound to a Divine Kingdom, nor limited by the erosion of ti. They transcend the flow of ages, standing apart from the cycle of life and death. Overgods like him usually reign in the higher realms of the Crimson World, closer to the very core of the universe."
She paused, letting the enormity of those words sink in. Cain’s mind raced, struggling to reconcile what he had thought was the pinnacle of existence with this new, unimaginable peak. ylin’s eyes were wide, her breath shallow, and Bahamut stood silent as if the weight of those truths had rooted him in place.
Tiamat continued, her voice calm yet unwavering.
"After the Demon King killed the Embodint of Carnage, he sought out—or more accurately, he sought my path. He offered guidance, insights that shifted my understanding of cultivation itself. And then... he gave a task: to welco you into the Second Realm."
Cain and ylin exchanged a glance, a silent realization dawning between them. It all made sense now. The Demon King’s sheer might ant that even an ArchDeity like Tiamat could be guided by him. Yet there was still the lingering question—the one Tiamat had warned them about earlier.
It didn’t take long for Cain to piece it together. His eyes narrowed in thought, and then he spoke.
"The Demon King is a Depravita. Even though he broke his connection to the forces that invaded the Crimson World billions of years ago, people could still hold suspicions... and grudges."
His words drew the attention of the others. Tiamat nodded, acknowledging his insight.
"His power is enough to protect himself," Cain continued, "but they could target his disciples—aning ylin."
Tiamat’s eyes flashed, a sharp glint of respect in their depths, as she affird Cain’s assessnt.
"Exactly. Beyond safeguarding you, the Demon King also left treasures for you both."
Cain and ylin’s eyes lit up, anticipation surging through their veins. The re thought of receiving a gift from a being at the very peak of existence filled them with thrill and excitent.
Tiamat wasted no ti. She lifted her hand, and a massive dark sword materialized, its presence alone warping the air around it. The blade was gargantuan, matching Cain’s towering Neo-Demon body in scale. Yet its size was the least impressive thing about it. The mont Cain laid eyes on the weapon, he felt it: a searing, destructive energy that resonated perfectly with his Absolute Destruction True Doomsday Body.
"A weapon attuned to a Neo-Demon..." Cain murmured, awe in his voice.
Given the Demon King’s age and mastery, it wasn’t surprising he could forge such a weapon—but that didn’t diminish the overwhelming awe Cain felt.
The sword floated toward him, and as soon as he grasped it, his arms trembled.
"Heavy..."
That was all Cain could say. Despite the strength of his Pri Deity Neo-Demon body, which could hold the weight of a small planet, the sword’s sheer density broke his balance, forcing him to use both arms and channel his full might just to hold it steady.
It took a few monts of focusing his energy, but eventually, Cain found his center—steadying the blade in his grip, a wild grin spreading across his face.
Tiamat’s voice rang out, strong and clear.
"The weapon is called Sky Devourer. According to the Demon King’s words, it will synchronize perfectly with your Neo-Demon constitution. Not only that, but it will evolve—by devouring the bodies and souls of your enemies, and even the life force of their Divine Kingdoms."
Cain nodded, his grin stretching wider. Sky Devourer wasn’t just a weapon—it was an extension of his path, a catalyst for the devastation he was destined to wield. It surpassed the Shooting Star Dragon Halberd by leagues.
Once satisfied that Cain had mastered the sword, Tiamat turned to ylin. With a flick of her wrist, three objects appeared before her.
Two of them were one-handed swords—one pitch black, the other searing red. ylin could feel their energy the mont they materialized: they pulsed in perfect harmony with her Depravita Aura, their presence aligning seamlessly with her Core Sin of Pride.
Grasping them in her hands, ylin felt a thrill course through her veins. They weren’t just weapons—they were extensions of her will. With a single thought, the swords lted into streams of psychic energy, fusing into her arms, becoming a part of her.
Then her eyes shifted to the final object: a small sphere, swirling with nebulous energy—like a fragnt of the cosmos itself.
Tiamat’s voice was calm, yet it carried imnse weight.
"The swords are nad Abyss and Hell. Like Sky Devourer, they can evolve alongside you. And the sphere... it holds Depravita’s Life Essence. According to your master, it will elevate your Depravita constitution to the peak of the Pri Deity Rank."
ylin’s eyes widened in awe. Her heart raced, excitent surging through her entire being. One of the key reasons she had lagged behind Cain was their bodies. Neo-Demons and Depravitas were on the sa tier of talent and potential, but Cain had already triggered the evolution of his path. She, on the other hand, had been left behind.
