Now reading: Chapter 1775: Depravita of Pride vs Sun Lord from The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order, a Action novel by Redsunworld.

The Sun Lord could already picture the figure of the Neo-Demon crushed under his palm, reduced to a paste of blood and broken bones. His mind swirled with anticipation, an intoxicating blend of vengeance and fury.

"ZNNNN" Yet, just as his massive palm was about to land, a sharp, sundering sound split the chaos. His eyes widened in horror as he watched his hand be severed into hundreds of fragnts, golden light spilling like molten fire.

"What!?" That was the only word the Sun Lord could force through the storm of shock coursing through his heart. Cain was trapped within the Final Archangel, his supposedly inescapable cage of celestial might. The Neo-Demon should not have been able to move, let alone strike.

The Sun Lord’s mind raced, desperate to comprehend how such a thing was possible.

The answer beca clear in the next breath. The one who had cut his hand was not Cain. It was the fierce young woman now standing between the Sun Lord and the Neo-Demon, the Depravita of Pride.

ylin held two swords, each radiating an aura so sharp it seed capable of slicing through worlds themselves. The swords, Hell and Abyss, were the gifts from the Demon King, and in ylin’s hands, they sang of death and ruin.

Her eyes burned with ferocity, a brutal and unrelenting intent that sent a chill down even the Sun Lord’s spine. Without warning, her figure vanished, blinking through space that should have been sealed by the Sun Lord’s energy. His domain warped, his influence felt everywhere, and yet she moved as if it were air, appearing behind him in an instant.

"Six Hundred and Sixty-Six Cuts!" ylin roared, her voice laced with the dark power of her Core Sin and the burning force of the Oniric Truth of Pride.

Her blades blurred faster than the speed of light, each cut igniting a ripple of destruction across the Sun Lord’s back. His wings shattered under the assault, torn to pieces by the relentless strikes. The massive figure, once so regal and imposing, crumbled toward the ground as golden blood poured from the gaping wounds.

Agony beyond comprehension wracked the Sun Lord’s soul. The Depravita’s aura was a venom, infecting his mind and spirit, each cut resonating with the curse the Demon King had placed upon him. It was a nightmare within a nightmare.

Yet even in his pitiful state, the Sun Lord lashed out, fury and instinct driving him to swing his massive forearm toward ylin. The attack carried the force of a collapsing star, a brute strike.

ylin’s eyes sharpened in the face of the incoming blow. She inhaled deeply, channeling her power, and the twin swords in her hands shattered into countless golden fragnts that ford a shimring cocoon around her.

"BOOOOOOOMMMM!"

An explosion of kinetic force and searing flas erupted across the sky as the colossal forearm collided with the cocoon, sending it tumbling thousands of kiloters away. The shockwaves engulfed the battlefield, yet as the cocoon cracked open, it revealed ylin—completely unscathed. Not a single wound marred her figure.

The Sun Lord, rising shakily from the ruined ground, could only stare in disbelief. Only now did he grasp the full extent of ylin’s power.

"CRACK!" "AHHHHH!"

Another scream of agony tore through the chaos. Cain had shattered the prison, erging with a fierce grin as he gazed at the Sun Lord. His voice was a roar, commanding and unrelenting.

"Cut his connection to the Divine Kingdom!"

The Sun Lord’s eyes widened in disbelief. Those words made no sense. He and his Divine Kingdom were one—inseparable. No one could sever that bond.

Yet ylin simply nodded, and her entire form lted into a dark fog. That fog expanded across the sky before sinking into the ground, seeping into every crack and crevice of the Divine Kingdom. The very foundations of the realm trembled as ylin’s psychic power began to gnaw at its core. Her essence spread like a virus, corrupting the delicate balance that held the kingdom together.

"RUMBLE!"

The Divine Kingdom quaked under the assault. Had it been at its peak, ylin’s infiltration would have failed. But after the prolonged battle and the Sun Lord’s own reckless drain on its energy, the realm was weakened, vulnerable. Her power surged through its structures, severing the vital connection between the Sun Lord and the Origin Power flowing through the kingdom.

"Impossible..." The Sun Lord could not believe what he was feeling. The divine bond, the lifeline of his power, was gone.

"Fifth Gear!" Cain’s voice thundered, a declaration of doom. Before the Sun Lord could react, Cain appeared directly before his gargantuan chest, his entire body cloaked in a dark, tallic luster. The destructive aura emanating from the Neo-Demon was overwhelming, fracturing space itself.

"Apocalyptic Blast!" Cain roared, swinging Sky Breaker with all his might. The colossal sword erupted with ultra-dense Neo-Demon Aura, creating a cataclysmic explosion that bathed the sky in waves of dark purple light.

"CRACK!"

The twenty-million-ter fra the Sun Lord had conjured—his last, desperate gambit—shattered like glass. The energy that had once sustained him collapsed, revealing his true form, broken and frail, tumbling through the void like a ragdoll.

Before the Sun Lord could gather himself, Cain was already upon him, Sky Breaker unleashing six brutal, lightning-fast strikes.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The Sun Lord’s screams of agony were unrestrained as his limbs and wings were severed one by one. His cries echoed across the realm, a symphony of despair.

Cain’s massive hand closed around the Sun Lord’s battered body, squeezing with such force that the air in the celestial being’s lungs was forced out in a single, shuddering gasp. Horror and dread filled the Sun Lord’s eyes as he stared at the Neo-Demon’s cold gaze.

"Please... don’t... kill ... I can be your... slave..."

Faced with death, the once-proud Sun Lord shattered, his pride crumbling like dust. He begged, pathetic and broken.

Cain’s smile widened, a glint of mockery in his eyes.

"I will not kill you."

Relief flooded the Sun Lord’s heart, but it was short-lived. Cain’s next words were a cruel whisper, a sentence of worse-than-death.

"But you will wish you had perished."

As the final words left Cain’s lips, the black hole within his right hand began to glow.
