Finally, Cain turned his gaze toward the Crimson Exarch and attempted a similar scan. But the mont the invisible force of the Supercomputer Assistant reached toward the man, the Exarch turned his head and smiled.

The realization pleased him. For the first ti in what felt like ages,
Cain allowed his mind to relax.
Within the Sacred Dinsion, such monts of peace were rare.
Roughly thirty-four hours later, a flash of radiant light tore through the air, and the Enlightened One materialized. A lotus with twenty-one petals glowed upon his forehead.
A faint smile touched Cain's lips as he sensed the man's presence. The
Enlightened One's aura was calm and steady until his eyes fell upon Braldy. Before violence could bloom, Cain's voice echoed in the Enlightened One's mind, sharp but steady.
"This place is safe. We can't fight each other here. Do not make any
violent move."
The Enlightened One was surprised by those words, and even more by the change of Cain's appearance, but as he gazed at the Oveerser, things beca clear, and he cald his energy
