"What do you an?" Cain asked, confused.
According to what the Enlightened One had told him, leaving this place was supposed to be simple. You only needed to stand at the beginning of a ring for a month, doing nothing. The Sacred Dinsion would then assu you had reached your limit and expel you.
However, once again, things seed to be changing.
"I believe our actions have triggered so sort of hidden function," the Crimson Exarch said. "I can't be certain, but if I'm right, you, , and everyone else inside the Sacred Dinsion will be expelled. Where we'll appear afterward, though, that's impossible to know. If I were you, I'd prepare."
After that, the Crimson Exarch simply closed his eyes and began revolving his energy, ensuring he was at his peak.
Cain still had many questions, but there was no ti. He cald his mind and began circulating his energy, ready for whatever would happen. If he were lucky, he would appear alone or next to a friend. But after being lost for what felt like forever within the Flow, he didn't count on it.
Across the Sacred Dinsion of the Red King, tremors grew stronger, confusing the mbers of both the Light Path and the Freedom Path. Then, without warning, an invisible force took hold of them and forcibly pushed their bodies out of the Sacred Dinsion.
The process was extrely disorienting; it struck them without warning. Even Braldy, an Alpha Oga Overgod, felt his mind grow foggy as he found himself outside, standing within the crystalline expanse of the Red Forest, the entrance to the Sacred Dinsion.
Of course, given his overwhelming soul force and vitality, it would only take him a few seconds to adapt. Unfortunately for the Neo-Angel, he did not have that luxury.
His instincts scread in terror as the threat of death lood over him. Braldy turned just in ti to see a figure clad in bone armor, brandishing a crimson sword that ca streaking toward him.
The blade was aid directly at his head, ready to split it in two, but the overwhelming danger sharpened his senses just enough for him to move at the last second.
"ZNNNNNNNNN-"
Agonizing pain shot through Braldy as the sword cleaved into his left collarbone and tore downward, slicing through bone, shattering ribs, and collapsing a lung in its wake before sending him crashing into the ground. A violent explosion of dark crimson flas erupted upon impact.
Cain's eyes were cold and rciless as he gazed at the crater where the Neo-Angel had fallen. Unlike Braldy, Cain had prepared for the teleportation. He reacted quickly enough to take the Neo-Angel by surprise, pouring every ounce of power he possessed into his first strike.
Had Sky Devourer landed squarely on the Neo-Angel's head, even Braldy's body would not have survived. Yet he had. The sudden burst of energy from the crater made it clear that this battle was far from
over.
Braldy's energy exploded outward, blasting away the dust and revealing his figure. The wound across his torso was deep, horribly so, and the destructive forces of the Absolute Destruction Doomsday Body, Reaper Touch, and Scarlet Reaper still lingered within it. The injury refused to close, bleeding profusely while the flesh and bone around it continued to rot.
That wound would have been enough to incapacitate any Archdeity, but the Neo-Angel was an Alpha Oga Overgod. His eyes glowed with cold fury as he shouted,
"Salvation Incarnation!"
In the next instant, the Neo-Angel Core within Braldy's heart flared with power, seizing control of the surrounding rules and laws. Fragnts of reality burst apart, and he drew those fragnts into his body and soul. His strength surged imnsely, the blast purging the necrotic and destructive energy festering within his wounds.
Wings of plasma unfolded from his back. Turquoise gauntlets wrapped around his arms, and boots of the sa material encased his legs. His physical might skyrocketed to new heights.
Cain tightened his grip on his sword, feeling Braldy's rising power, but he did not waver. The transformation had cleansed Braldy's body but had not healed it. A deep gash still ran from his collarbone nearly to his waist, greatly diminishing his battle potential. If Cain used everything he had gained during his journey through the Sacred Dinsion of the Red King, he might just stand a chance against the Alpha Oga Overgod Neo-Angel.
"This will be our third and final clash," the Neo-Demon muttered, lowering his stance.
The words were not ant for Braldy but for himself, a declaration that he would give everything in this fight. There would be no retreat this ti. His heart was set. He had to take the Neo-Angel's life to prove that he possessed the power to seek the truth of his own
origin.
"I'll crush your skull and eat your brain!" the Neo-Angel roared in reply.
He was not poetic; rage consud him. He channeled that fury to drown the pain coursing through his nerves from his unhealed wounds. Their energies climbed higher and higher until the very air around them crackled with power. A storm of turquoise and crimson lightning howled into existence, spiraling around the two warriors
like a living vortex.
Then, without warning, they launched at each other, sword and fist colliding with enough force to pierce worlds.
The mont Cain's sword and Braldy's fist, wreathed in turquoise energy, collided, a thunderous explosion echoed across the battlefield. The shockwave rippled outward, tearing through the terrain and shaking the sky itself.
But the clash did not last long.
Cain twisted his stance, invoking Divergence, and deflected Braldy's
arm to the side. In the sa motion, he brought his blade upward in a
vicious arc, slashing toward the Neo-Angel's torso.
Braldy saw the weapon coming but showed neither fear nor hesitation. He gathered his energy at his chest and took the blow
head-on.
The blade sliced through flesh and muscle, but it failed to reach the
bone.
That single advantage allowed Braldy to counter. His fist, burning with condensed divine energy, slamd into Cain's chest like a teor. The impact shattered the ground beneath them, sending both flying apart amid waves of turquoise and crimson light.
