It was an epic sight.
An obsidian energy cannon roared through the sky, blasting directly against a massive shadow moon bearing a face twisted with hatred and loathing. Destructive waves rippled outward, shaking space itself as darkness and obsidian clashed in a violent struggle of annihilation.
Yet the confrontation did not last long.
The Eternity Gate began to close.
As its radiant light dimd and the colossal portal sealed itself, the laws and rules of Origin Island trembled once more, surging to their absolute peak. Invisible forces descended upon every remaining warrior of the Life Path and the Freedom Path, seizing them without resistance.
Cain, the Demon King, ylin, and the other warriors of the Life Path all wore wide smiles as they felt space folding around them, ready to expel them from Origin Island. Although things had not gone exactly as planned-with the Crimson Exarch successfully crossing the Eternity Gate-they had still achieved their primary objective.
The Ancient One had been stopped.
That alone made the entire ordeal worth it.
"NOOOOO!"
A scream of fury and despair erupted from the shadow moon as the Ancient One refused to accept the outco. But his will no longer mattered.
The next instant, the power of Origin Island reached its zenith.
Cain and the others were forcibly expelled, their bodies transforming into beams of radiant light that shot out of the island at incomprehensible speed, vanishing beyond its boundaries.
The battlefield fell silent.
The only one left behind was the Leader of the Masked Race.
With the Neo-Angels gone, there was no longer anything suppressing his body. Zuko slowly stood up, dusting himself off as a complicated expression appeared on his face. His gaze lingered on the now-closed Eternity Gate for several seconds.
In the end, he simply sighed.
With a casual wave of his sword, he released a pulse of power that erased the lingering destruction left behind by the myriad battles fought there. The shattered terrain stabilized, reality knitting itself back together under his influence.
Without another word, Zuko turned around and left Origin Island's core behind.
Cain felt a blinding light engulf him.
His body was hurled through countless dinsions at an overwhelming speed, space folding and unraveling endlessly around him. When he was finally expelled, he was thrown violently into open space.
Even with his reinforced physical abilities, Cain felt as though his lungs were about to burst from his chest.
Fortunately, the sensation did not last long.
He quickly regained control, stabilizing himself midair as his breathing evened out. His eyes imdiately sharpened, and the power of his mind and soul flooded outward, sweeping the surrounding area in search of enemies.
Just because they had left Origin Island did not an the war was
over.
If anything, future battles could be even more destructive. Unlike Origin Island, the Nine Realms of the Crimson World did not
possess laws strong enough to suppress Alpha-Oga Overgod-level combat effectively. If such beings fought freely, the sky itself would shatter.
However, Cain quickly realized that no battle was imminent.
He was completely alone.
"It seems we were pushed away in random directions," Cain muttered.
Given the sheer vastness of the Ninth Realm, the odds of two warriors appearing near each other were nearly nonexistent. Even if they did, the Neo-Angels were all gravely wounded. Those at the Middle Alpha-Oga Overgod Stage and above might have survived, but they would be severely crippled.
The only true threat left was the Ancient One.
And Cain was certain that the man would do everything possible to
hide.
With his army shattered and his body badly wounded, facing the Demon King head-on would an certain death.
Taking a deep breath, Cain's eyes glowed faintly.
Without the suppressive power of Origin Island, the Power of Chaos surged freely through his being. His presence resonated across the Ninth Realm as he reached out, connecting with the True Depravitas and the Enlightened Ones scattered across vast distances.
His voice echoed directly into their souls.
"Follow to reunite."
After such a massive battle with universe-altering consequences,
regrouping was essential. The warriors of the Life Path felt the Power of Chaos respond like a beacon, guiding them unerringly toward
Cain's location.
As he sensed them approaching, Cain finally allowed himself a mont of rest.
He turned his focus inward.
The changes to his body and soul were profound-far greater than he
had initially realized.
His attention centered on the dodecahedron that had replaced his Neo-Demon Core. ering into it, Cain saw that his True Doomsda Body still resided within. However, it had changed.
The humanoid figure now possessed wings erging from its back- vast, transcendent wings that extended far beyond its physical form, connecting it directly to the world around it.
It was no longer a re embodint of inner destruction. Instead, it fused the inner and outer essences of destruction into one unified existence, drawing power both from within Cain and from the
universe itself.
His Astral Black Holes remained as well, each still sealing a powerful warrior. Yet they, too, had evolved-no longer rely releasing energy, but actively channeling power from the surrounding world. "The inner power of the Neo-Demon Race," Cain murmured, "and the outer power of the Neo-Angel Race..."
A solemn expression appeared on his face as he ca to a realization.
He had beco sothing entirely new.
"Supercomputer Assistant. Scan ."
The response echoed coldly within his mind, tallic and precise.
