Now reading: Chapter 2398 Ocean of the Blood Sun from The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order, a Action novel by Redsunworld.

After three days, the waters of the blood ocean raged once more.

This ti, millions of massive beasts erupted from its crimson depths, surging into the surrounding land like an unstoppable tide. Instantly, a vast carnage unfolded.

The blood ocean's beasts charged forward. They flooded forests, scaled mountains, drilled swamps, slaughtering every creature in their path before dragging the corpses back into the sea.

More and more bodies flooded the blood ocean, yet Cain did not imdiately consu them. He allowed them to float upon the surface, his attention focused elsewhere-on the cosmic power of this unfamiliar universe.

Attempting to understand the rules and laws of this place from

scratch would have been a gargantuan task, even for soone whose soul force had reached the Alpha-Oga Overgod Rank. Fortunately, Cain did not need to start from nothing.

The blood ocean that now served as his body contained powerful cosmic rules and forces embedded deep within its essence. He only needed to harmonize with them and learn how to wield their power.

That was also not easy, but for a master of the Power of Chaos and the Flow, it was a piece of cake.

The corpses continued to accumulate as the ocean beasts carried on their rampage. So of the slain were no larger than crates, while others rivaled small mountains in size. It was a massacre of unimaginable scale, yet it seed entirely natural in a universe where every living being existed solely to kill and consu others.

Cain felt no discomfort at the sight.

Throughout his cultivation journey, he had killed and consud billions-perhaps trillions-of lives without ever feeling even the

faintest trace of guilt. As long as he did not slaughter the weak and innocent, he felt no moral burden. And in this land, such concepts appeared aningless. The weak and innocent never survived long enough to be nad.

On the seventh day, a surge of thrill and excitent coursed through the Scarlet King's heart.

He had finally attuned to the cosmic rules embedded within his body.

"The cosmic rules here are similar to those of the Crimson World," Cain realized, "in that they embody both laws and concepts at the sa ti... yet their nature is far more warlike."

A solemn sense of awe spread through his soul. Even the rules of this universe were militarized. Unlike the Crimson World, where the cosmic rule of fire ant destruction but also life and creation, here it was just annihilation.

It was as if the universe itself had been forged with the singular purpose of forging killing machines.

That realization weighed heavily on him, especially as he recalled the Demon King's vision-three universes stacked atop one another, with his own world at the very bottom.

"It would make sense if this is the origin of the forces that waged war against the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe and the Crimson World simultaneously," Cain thought. "Yet so far, I haven't detected even the faintest presence of a True Depravita."

The contradiction unsettled him.

This place was undeniably dangerous, yet its true nature remained elusive. In the end, the Scarlet King shook off his doubts. There was no benefit in chasing answers he could not yet reach, so he focused on what he could.

"I can take control over life, bloodlines, and-to a limited extent- evolution."

Thrill and excitent surged within him. This was exactly what he had hoped for.

He had never intended to remain as a blood ocean forever, as that did not fit his cultivation path, and the power of The Flow worked much better with a humanoid body.

The Scarlet King had chosen this form first for its safety, and second because it served as the perfect womb-one capable of forging a new body with talent and potential surpassing every life form he had encountered so far.

Sharpening his focus, Cain seized control of the cosmic powers now under his command and began to channel them into physical forms.

Four cocoons began to take shape.

Three ford within the heart of the blood ocean itself. The fourth- and strongest-was placed at the very bottom of the sea. It would be more difficult to feed, but it existed in a location where even Alpha-Oga Overgods would struggle to reach.

Without hesitation, Cain began.

Using the cosmic rules alongside the Powers of Chaos and The Flow, he seized control of the corpses. Their bodies were crushed under the imnse pressure of the blood ocean until nothing remained but streams of pure life force and bloodline essence. These streams were then directed into the three cocoons.

As Cain focused on the cocoons and sensed the life growing within them, a dangerous gleam passed through his soul.

"In order to gather the materials I need for my new body," he realized, "I'll require generals capable of venturing beyond the borders of the

blood ocean."

Ti passed.

More and more corpses were dragged back by Cain's puppets, their remains refined into essence and fed into the cocoons. Everything

proceeded according to plan.

Then, during the third month since the carnage had begun,

sothing changed.

Cain detected a powerful force tearing through a horde of his drones, advancing toward the blood ocean at an alarming speed.

It did not take long for the intruders to appear.

A group from the city Cain had glimpsed before arrived at the edge of the blood ocean. None of them possessed a third eye, yet each bore a massive fra, their bodies carved with overwhelming power.

At their forefront stood a gargantuan warrior.

Armor erged directly from his flesh, jagged spikes protruding from

his body as if grown rather than forged. Most striking of all was a small opening in his forehead-a hollow space that suggested an eye

would soon erge.

The leader gazed upon the blood ocean, confusion and cold

calculation etched into his fierce features. After a mont, a flash of understanding crossed his eyes.

"You," he spoke, his voice resonating with authority, "who have taken control of the Ocean of the Blood Sun... we must talk."
