Mirena finally nodded. After a brief mont of calculation, she gave a number.
"We can give you four thousand Prima Deities and forty-nine Arch Deities."
Cain's incarnation remained completely stoic, betraying nothing on the surface. Yet deep within his heart, desire and exhilaration burned fiercely. Such a massive number of sacrifices ant an enormous amount of Ancestor Drops-enough to allow him to take a trendous step forward in the creation of his new body.
However, Mirena was not finished.
Her voice grew colder, carrying a chilling authority that caused the air itself to seem to freeze.
"Understand this," she said. "With these sacrifices co
responsibilities. If you do not show enough power during the battles to co, we will demand repaynt."
Cain stared at the woman for a mont before performing a solemn nod. Paradise was not a place where he could afford carelessness. After all, she had just handed him sacrifices equal to nearly a quarter of the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance, as if they were nothing but trash.
"I will show my full power in the future battles," Cain replied calmly. "I will take the lives of many warriors of the Kalous Kingdom. You do not need to worry about that."
Mirena nodded, seemingly satisfied. She then waved her hand, sending a dallion flying toward the blood humanoid.
"That dallion will allow us to communicate with each other," she said. "Without the risk of anyone spying on us."
Her tone then turned more solemn.
"According to our intelligence, the Kalous Kingdom will make a move against you in two months. The techniques will arrive next week. The captives will arrive within a month, along with our forces."
With that, Mirena clasped her hands together and nodded once more. "Until we et again, Blood King."
Cain returned the courtesy.
"Until we et again."
With a sharp kick against the air, Mirena shattered space itself. Her figure vanished into the distance at shocking speed, leaving only rippling distortions behind. Once the woman was gone, the blood humanoid lted, fusing back into the Ocean of the Blood Sun.
"Creator, I sense danger around that woman," Satan said.
"So do I," Hades added. "My instincts tell that an alliance with them will not end well for us."
The two Royal Guards communicated with Cain through their telepathic link. In response, they heard Cain's laughter echo through their minds.
"Hahaha... Of course it will not end well for us," Cain said calmly. "The Kalous Kingdom. The Aztorus Kingdom. We cannot truly trust anyone. We are alone."
His words were cold, yet he spoke them as if stating an undeniable truth.
"The Aztorus Kingdom will use us to harm the Kalous Kingdom without any regard for our safety," Cain continued. "And once we are no longer useful, they will most likely try to either kill or enslave ."
The eyes of the two Royal Guards sharpened.
"Then why make an alliance?" Satan asked.
"Because we need it," Cain replied without hesitation. "And because if
I play my cards right, we will win big."
Cold thrill surged through Cain's soul as a plan rapidly took shape in his mind. Strength was fundantal to that plan. Without wasting ti, Cain imdiately sent Satan and Hades to hunt while he focused entirely on the growth of his new body.
Just as Mirena had said, after one week, a massive Blutlinie appeared above the Ocean of the Blood Sun. His body was covered in jagged spikes, radiating brutal strength. He was enormous, and his power clearly belonged to an ArchDeity, though his role was that of a ssenger.
"I am Korin," the Blutlinie announced. "I co in the na of Lady Mirena. Here are the promised techniques."
He took out a black box. Instantly, an invisible force seized it and dragged it into the blood ocean.
"Thank your master," Cain's voice echoed coldly. "Now leave!"
The ArchDeity nodded imdiately and vanished in a flash of light. The Ocean of the Blood Sun had already beco infamous due to the countless deaths surrounding it, and Korin had no intention of
remaining even a second longer than necessary.
Cain could not care less about the ssenger. His mind was already inside the box.
Within it lay an entire library.
The excitent in Cain's heart grew stronger with every mont. The soul-related knowledge possessed by the Aztorus Kingdom was staggering, offering insights into phenona at the very peak of the Third Realm. It was far beyond what he had expected.
When his attention turned to the body refinent techniques related to speed, his shock deepened even further. So of the techniques, if trained to their limits, could grant speed so terrifying that even a Limit Third Realm Master would struggle to follow the movents
with their eyes.
"They definitely have even better techniques hidden in their secret collections," Cain muttered. "Perhaps even sothing that could help surpass the limits of the Third Realm."
Greed and desire surged within him, but Cain did not allow those emotions to cloud his judgnt. After a mont, his mind cooled, becoming sharp and focused as he analyzed his plan.
"With this knowledge regarding the soul, combined with my powers, I should be able to succeed," Cain thought. "However, I will need them
to trust ."
Gaining the trust of Royal Blutlinie was extrely difficult. They did not even trust their own families. Still, there was always a thod.
After pondering for a mont, Cain summoned the dallion and sent his consciousness into it.
"Yes?" Mirena's voice appeared instantly. "Is everything satisfactory with the techniques?"
"Everything is perfect," Cain replied with a courteous tone. "The reason I am contacting you is regarding another matter. I have an idea concerning our first clash with the forces of the Kalous Kingdom."
His voice carried faint intrigue.
"I believe you will find it very interesting."
Silence followed.
Then, Mirena's voice echoed once more.
"I am listening."
If Cain had a face, right now, he would be making the face of a devil
about to trap soone in his net.
