Now reading: Chapter 2485 The Soul Crushing King from The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order, a Action novel by Redsunworld.

The tension between the Eternal Soul Kingdom and the forces of the Immortal Nirvana Kingdom in the Eighth Realm escalated dramatically after the appearance of the massive pillar of scarlet and white flas. Both sides understood the sa truth: a new actor had entered the battlefield. And neither kingdom intended to let the other seize the advantage before discovering who-or what-that presence was. The clashes that followed reached a new level of savagery.

One of the largest battles unfolded above a vast ocean. The destruction was so imnse that the sea itself split apart under the pressure of colliding powers. Towering walls of water rose into the firmant, waves so colossal they seed capable of drowning the sky.

The concentrated energy unleashed by Alpha Oga Overgods

distorted the atmosphere, birthing colossal tornadoes and gargantuan monsoons. So of those violent currents were so intense that they swallowed ArchDeities whole, crushing and tearing them apart beneath spiraling torrents of water and wind.

Despite the killing intent saturating the battlefield, neither side gained a decisive advantage. The fighting raged for over an hour, the ocean floor cracking, the clouds above scattering into fragnts of vapor. In the end, the warriors retreated in different directions, wary of overextending themselves in such unstable conditions.

Declaring a clear victor was impossible.

Yet while the overall battle remained inconclusive, one Peak Alpha Oga Overgod of the Immortal Nirvana Kingdom found himself in dire straits.

His na was Sanzon.

He flew at full speed across the shattered skies, blood trailing behind him. Despite burning his energy recklessly, he could not shake his

pursuer. And that was a problem-because the one chasing him was no ordinary powerhouse.

It was one of the kings of the Eternal Soul Realm.

A man who had forged an organization strong enough to stand on equal grounds with the Eternal Soul Kingdom itself.

The King-Tier Royal Blutlinie was a massive, broad-shouldered figure with arms like ancient tree trunks. His left and right eyes burned with eerie golden flas, and in his grip rested a colossal bastard sword nearly as large as his own body. His physical speed alone was not extraordinary-but his Ancestor Eye shone continuously, space behind him trembling before releasing shockwaves that propelled him forward faster and faster.

In a blink, he appeared above Sanzon.

Without hesitation, he swung his sword downward.

A shockwave of overwhelming pressure descended from the sky. The ocean below reacted instantly, sinking inward as if an invisible divine hand were pressing it down. Before the blade even struck, the pressure alone sealed Sanzon's movents.

Grinding his teeth, Sanzon detonated his Ancestor Power. All the light around him condensed into a cocoon of solid radiance just as the sword fell.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!"

The explosion shook the entire ocean. Water blasted outward for hundreds of miles as Sanzon was hurled like a teor into the ocean floor.

A vacuum ford in the aftermath, the surrounding waters held at bay by residual force. At its center lay Sanzon's bloodied figure.

The cocoon of solidified light had saved his life.

But he was far too wounded to flee again.

The King-Tier powerhouse lifted his sword, preparing to finish the Peak Alpha Oga Overgod-

"Intu, King of the Soul Crushing Kingdom, right?"

The voice was calm.

Too calm.

Intu's eyes widened as he spun toward its source.

There, standing in the air not far away, was a man wearing a red mask.

'How did he get so close to ?" The thought flashed through Intu's mind before his focus sharpened. He did not recognize this figure.

That ant only one thing.

An invader.

"Who are you?" Intu demanded, his grip tightening around his sword.

Cain glanced at him briefly.

"The Red King."

The na lingered in the air like a declaration.

Without waiting for a response, Cain shifted his gaze downward

toward Sanzon.

"Run."

Intu's eyes widened again. There was no mistaking the aning

behind that word.

Sanzon was his prey.

And this so-called Red King was telling him to leave.

"Who do you think you are!?" Intu roared.

His aura exploded outward, the sky trembling as the ocean below churned violently. The pressure radiating from him intensified to a

terrifying degree.

Cain's eyes narrowed slightly.

He is even stronger than the Heartcram King or the Evernight Queen.

Those were opponents Cain would have struggled to face back in the Ninth Realm. Yet now, as he stood here in the Eighth Realm, there was no trace of doubt in his heart. The faint rembrance of Order and the surging might of Chaos within him created an overwhelming

sense of certainty.

He glanced at Sanzon again.

"Go. He will not dare attack you while I am present."

Rage and humiliation burned within Intu. But he could not deny the truth of those words.

The Red King's aura was... strange. Unfathomable. Intu could barely perceive him clearly. If he turned his back to strike Sanzon down, he might succeed-but there was a real possibility that his own back would be pierced in that sa instant.

Sanzon, though confused, had no intention of rejecting salvation. He forced himself upright, gathering what remained of his power, and locked onto a distant patch of empty sky.

'As soon as I am safe, I must inform the others. This could be a great

opportunity!

But the instant that thought ford-

Two enormous eyes appeared above him, glowing with scarlet

radiance.

They manifested within his consciousness, vast and all-seeing. Every

secret, every intention, every flicker of thought was laid bare beneath

their gaze. A hand settled upon his shoulder.

"You may escape," Cain's voice echoed. "But if you inform anyone

about this encounter..."

The grip tightened.

"I will rip out your heart and devour your soul."

Sanzon's entire body trembled. Cold sweat poured down his spine.

He looked up.

The Red King remained in the sky, gaze fixed solely on Intu.

Yet Sanzon could still feel that hand on his shoulder.

'What kind of monster is that?'

He had no desire to learn the answer.

Burning his remaining energy recklessly, Sanzon shot into the

distance, fleeing as fast as he possibly could-determined to put as much space as possible between himself and the Red King.
