The Scarlet King's voice was peaceful and revealed nothing of the ruthlessness and killing might inside his heart.

The Scarlet King's eyes twitched as all the killing intent in his heart was replaced by embarrassnt that nearly made him burst into laughter.
"Unfortunately not. I spoke with Master through my computer ring, but he seed to be in the middle of an important cultivation journey and could not et . He said I should keep working hard and wait for his call."
Astrid showed so disappointnt in her eyes as she heard that.
"I see, how unfortunate. I was hoping you could get his help on so inquiries as I have hit a bottleneck in my theoretical understanding of the Revolution Flas."

Still, practice makes perfect. As the duo continued working, the Scarlet King kept improving, and in less than three hours, a shining fla with ten colors appeared in his hand.
Astrid and the Scarlet King smiled as they saw the shining fla and grew excited and full of thrill. Both looked at each other and saw the desire to push forward.
Following Astrid's advice and adjustnts, the Scarlet King created an 11 Revolution Fla in a couple of hours and then carried on toward the next level.
Although they made significant improvents, they reached Astrid's ho before they could complete a 12 Revolution Fla.
Usually, it was at this point they would each take their respective path, but the young woman stared at the Scarlet King for a mont before speaking.
"Will you leave Evernight again and only return for the gala?"
The Scarlet King stared at the woman for a mont. It seed that she had been inquiring about him and knew about his patterns. After a mont, he softly shook his head.

Astrid could not help but grow nervous with the silence, and just as she was about to speak again, trying to calm things, the Scarlet King made a slight bow toward her.
