"Is this the inside of the ruins?"

Hilia and Elina looked at the scene before them after passing through the stone gate, feeling sowhat amazed.

They saw the interior of the ruins was intricately complex, roads crisscrossed throughout the space, as tangled as countless strands of rope.

Indeed, the space was not flat.

The whole space was filled with various roads, these roads floated in the air, most not vertically downward, so even reversed.

The road extending from their feet disappeared into the tangled ss, looking further away, they saw spots of starlight, seeming like a starry sky, or perhaps lights shining from windows.

It was the first ti the two had seen such a situation, leaving them stunned for a mont.

Hilia had only seen the Lost Lighthouse ruins, never explored other ruins, she looked for a while, then turned to ask Elina beside her: "Elina, are other ruins like this?"

Elina snapped back to reality and shook her head imdiately: "I’ve been to many ruins, it’s my first ti seeing such a reality-defying structure."

"What are other ruins like?" Hilia asked.

Elina thought for a mont and said: "So ruins directly simulate outside environnts, either villages or towns, or barren mountains and wilderness, or valleys, cliffs, or islands.

"There are also so ruins that are simple and brutal, set directly as underground worlds, requiring progression in darkness like a large tunnel network underground, connecting one demon nest after another.

"I’ve heard so special ruins are like a city in the sky, floating above, requiring flight, or forming a tower shape, each floor being a wondrous environnt."

"There are so many magical ancient ruins." Hilia exclaid.

Rose said: "Most ancient ruins were created by mages of legendary tier and above, who projected reflections of the real world into subspaces they created, preserving many things for later generations to enter and find their treasures.

"A small portion is like the Lost Lighthouse, after being polluted, taken over by demons following certain rules, over long-term pollution gradually differentiating into subspace, but the main structure still visible outside.

"As for this ruin, the door opens as a transmission thod, Pure Magic Crystal powers the stone gate, simultaneously opening the passage to subspace, passing through the stone gate brings you into subspace."

Hearing Rose’s explanation, Hilia couldn’t help but be curious: "Then if we didn’t enter subspace, what would happen if we pass through the stone gate? Get crushed inside?"

Rose smiled slightly: "Not that extre, subspace requires a dium, either a very valuable magical material, or a large array, or projecting based on real scenery.

"This subspace is the second type, behind the stone gate, hidden in the mountain, is a large subspace array. This array reserves so space for arrangent, so if you enter without entering subspace, you’d see an ordinary cave."

Hilia nodded, indicating she understood.

After staying where they were for a mont, both summoned magic puppets to lead the way, then slowly walked forward.

"This ruin is of the trap-solving type, from the situation with the roads, the first trap might be a three-dinsional labyrinth..."

Elina was unfinished speaking when suddenly the surroundings began to change.

They suddenly saw the tangled roads flipping and coming closer.

In the next second, the roads were around them and overhead.

The roads were stone-paved, there were so rocks and small trees along the sides.

The small trees were perpendicular to the road, hanging upside down from their perspective.

Elina imdiately beca vigilant: "This labyrinth is truly incredible, we took only a few steps and changes occurred. I heard the first person to enter an ancient ruin has the right to na the labyrinth, I think this ancient ruin could be called ’Incredible Labyrinth’."

Hilia said nothing, she already released Mage’s Hand, feeling everything around her.

Unfortunately, she didn’t sense any power from the Array Runes.

Those upside-down roads seed rightfully suspended as they were.

Rose said: "Subspaces created by mages inherently do not need to follow the physical rules of reality, do not automatically assu strange scenes are effected by arrays."

Hilia was enlightened: "So that’s how it is, so amazing, I wonder how many tiers are needed to create such a wondrous subspace."

"At least Tier Six." Rose said flatly: "At Tier Six, you touch the threshold of subspace creation, reaching this tier, you can create a small world to store personal items, you’re still far from this stage, considering creating subspace, consider getting a Space Ring instead."

Hilia said: "Space Rings are too expensive, even the worst ones start at 500 Gold Coins, I can’t afford them."

She had not failed to understand the convenience of Space Rings.

But at first glance, she dismissed the idea of purchasing one.

Because Space Rings are expensive, extrely expensive, beyond her reach as an ordinary mage.

"Expensive they are, but convenient, you can save to buy one." Rose shook his head: "I originally intended for you to buy materials, I’d guide you in making one, but your talent with space elent is no better than with potions, almost none, let’s forget it."

Hilia: "...Can’t everything be done by oneself?"

"Doing it yourself is best."

"..." Hilia couldn’t refute.

After all, facing a God, perhaps the creations of God may not be the best, but surely better than what an ordinary mage can accomplish.

Yet, she still didn’t quite understand why everything must be self-made?

Isn’t spending money to buy from others feasible? Ti saved could be spent on other things that are worthwhile...

"If you had money, you could do this, but since you don’t, obediently make things yourself."

"...Alright."

Hilia understood.

While talking, the two continued forward.

This Incredible Labyrinth has not yet exhibited aggressiveness, the road ahead changed, no longer a straight path forward, but twisted and climbing upward.

Though clearly the road ahead lifted, walking over it felt as if on flat ground, without any sense of shifted balance.

This feeling made the two girls feel novel.

However, no matter how novel the feeling, it would fade with ti.

Now, an important problem stood before them—

"We seem to be stuck in the labyrinth, how can we reach the other side?"
