Lucian stood in the grand hall as Yen Sid positioned the amulet at the center of the large magic circle drawn on the floor.
The wizard orb form blazed with brilliant light, streams of pale blue mana flowing steadily from it and weaving through the air to pour directly into the Amulet. When the artifact humd with power, Yen Sid spoke clearly and firmly.
"Lessen Curse."
Instantly, the Amulet erupted with blinding radiance, and the entire magic circle beneath it flared to life. Intricate runes along its edges lit up one by one, sending out glowing lines of magic that stretched across the city, connecting to the seven anchor points they had placed earlier, including the stone statue standing atop the great fountain in the central square.
High above the capital, the eighth outer points blazed like stars, and a vast, massive magic circle unfolded in the sky, casting its light over the entire city. Every corner of the capital glowed bright, as if bathed in gentle sunlight even beneath the night sky.
One by one, changes began to ripple through the castle and beyond. With soft puffs of silver smoke, the enchanted servants transford, shifting from their household object forms back into fully human beings. The floating orb that was Yen Sid swelled and changed shape, until it settled into the form of an elderly man with a long, flowing grey beard. Throughout the streets and halls, the figures that had been frozen in stone for years began to crack and crumble away, revealing living, breathing people and animals beneath.
The heavy, oppressive darkness that had hung over the land for so long vanished.
Withered trees and dry vines burst into fresh green leaf and bloom, roses unfurling their petals in vibrant color. The thick, grey clouds parted, revealing a clear sky strewn with countless stars and a full, glowing moon that cast silver light over the whole kingdom.
Shouts of wonder and sobs of joy rose everywhere. Many fell to their knees, weeping with relief; others stood disoriented, trying to understand where they were and what had happened after being trapped as statues for so long but all were filled with overwhelming happiness.
Back at the castle, a sudden sharp shriek cut through the noise.
Everyone turned to see Mrs. Potts clutching herself, her face turning bright red. "Don’t look! Please, turn away!" she cried out, covering her chest.
The n quickly averted their eyes as Astrid, rida, Ariel, and Ruffnut hurried over, wrapping her in a large cloth and guiding her gently toward the inner rooms to find proper clothing.
A mont later, deep, hearty laughter echoed through the hall. When they looked back toward the center of the magic circle, the glowing light had faded completely.
Standing there now was Yen Sid, tall, dignified, and completely naked, his long beard flowing down over his chest as he laughed openly and triumphantly. Beside him, Lumiere and Cogsworth had also regained their human forms, and they were spinning around in a silly, joyous dance, with their dick and balls swinging freely.
"Ah! My eyes! My poor, beautiful eyes!" Tuffnut groaned dramatically, pressing both palms over his face and turning away.
Beside him, Snotlout doubled over, retching slightly. "Ugh! I’ll never be able to unsee that! Never!"
Hiccup winced, glancing between the group and Lucian. "Right... maybe we should get them inside and into so clothes before anyone else sees?"
Lucian couldn’t help but chuckle, shaking his head at the absurd sight. "Yeah, that sounds like a good plan."

Half an hour later, inside a comfortable, well‑furnished office, the atmosphere was much calr. Yen Sid, Lumiere, and Cogsworth had all been properly dressed and were now seated across from Lucian, speaking in serious but relieved tones.
"So what you’re saying is we need to announce to the people what happened and that I am now the king, so unrest doesn’t spread," Lucian said.
"Precisely, Your Majesty," Cogsworth replied. He was now a middle‑aged, slightly portly gentleman with a round, fair face, short neatly styled white hair curling at the temples, and thin arched eyebrows. A well‑grood dark mustache sat above his rounded chin, and he carried himself with a mix of formality and relief.
"And how exactly do we do that?" Lucian asked. "When I flew around placing the runes, I saw just how vast this capital is, spreading the word by word of mouth would take days."
Yen Sid smiled, adjusting his tall, pointed sorcerer’s hat. His long grey beard flowed down over his chest, and he wore his familiar flowing aqua‑colored robes. "I have thought of that. You may have noticed the magical street lamps lining every road and corner of the city. Atop each sits a crystal orb, they are not rely for light. They are enchanted to project sights and sounds across great distances. Whatever is shown or spoken into one can be seen and heard clearly from every other orb in the entire capital."
He leaned forward slightly. "I could activate it right here, but first things first: we must prepare you properly for your official coronation. The Royal Chancellor, Pensworth, has already been working on a formal speech for you to deliver once the ceremony is complete."
"Coronation? At this ti of night?" Lucian asked, raising an eyebrow.
"The ceremony itself may wait until tomorrow, when the sun rises and all can gather," Lumiere explained smoothly. He stood tall and lean, with fair skin, a sharp chin, and bright copper hair tied neatly back with a yellow ribbon. He was dressed in his fine attire: a yellow cravat, a brown vest trimd in gold, a cream shirt with puffy sleeves patterned with leaves, yellow breeches, cream stockings, and polished brown shoes with golden buckles. "But for now, the Herald will go forth to announce the great news: that the curse is lessen, the darkness has lifted, and peace has returned. You should rest Your Majesty, you have done much today."
He gestured toward the door. "Allow to escort you to your chambers."
Lucian nodded, and together they walked through the restored halls of the castle. After several minutes, they stopped before a set of large double doors, where two armored knights stood guard. The knights glanced curiously at Lucian as they passed, but recognizing Lumiere, they bowed and did not stop them.
Inside, the room was spacious and grand, with high ceilings and rich tapestries hanging on the walls. The bed was enormous, large enough to easily fit ten people comfortably and everything looked fresh and clean.
"This is your private chamber, Your Majesty," Lumiere said, turning to gesture around the room. "It has been thoroughly cleaned, and the linens have all been changed. You may also keep track of what is happening in the city."
He pointed to a glowing crystal orb resting on the bedside table. "That orb is linked to the public system. It will show exactly what the Herald announces tonight, so you will know what is being said."
He bowed slightly. "If you will excuse , I shall leave you to rest."
With that, he turned and exited, closing the doors softly behind him.
Lucian walked over and sat down on the edge of the large bed, letting out a long, heavy sigh. So much had happened in such a short ti.
He finally decided to look at the Blind Boxes he had received as he waited for the announcent and before going to bed.
