Lucas who was scanning his surroundings before entering the forest turned his sharp golden eyes in the direction of the forest.

His gaze seems to penetrate deep into the forest and he felt a slight fluctuation coming from inside.

So many mana pulsations and sounds of fighting that were happening inside the forest suddenly vanished without any sign, within a short period.

'What's going on, how many of them were eliminated within a short period. Isn't it too fast considering so many were eliminated within a short instance? Further, what was the earlier sensation? Am I being targeted by soone too?' Countless thoughts and questions ran inside his mind.

The figure was too fast and Lucas was barely able to react out of instinct.

Composing himself, Lucas further channelled his mana and his body started to emit a golden hue as the mana around him swirled causing his body to glow fervently.

Since he couldn't assert the opponent's strength, he decides to go all out from the beginning.

Clenching his fist tightly, taking his foot back, he punched in the air and a huge fireball erged from his fist along with the trendous power of his punch.

Lucas punched a few more tis, throwing many fireballs along with his split.

The air before him broke by his fists and created many small sonic shockwaves and collided with the unknown entity with a loud bang.

Lucas created many layers of ice walls but still, the sense of danger didn't leave him and he stomped on the ground and jumped to the side.

It took a re split instant for Lucas to put multiple layers of ice and form a defensive wall before him to counter attacked the thing that pounced on him after the entity bore the brunt attack of his force.

The fire enveloped the thing's whole body but wasn't able to stop his charge and ignoring the punches it collided with the ice wall which shattered like thin glass with a cracking sound.

Even after colliding with the ice walls, its mad dash didn't stop and with the remaining montum, it dashed towards the wall behind Lucas.

Lucas after creating the ice wall had already jumped to the sideway to avoid the thing from smashing him.

The thing slamd onto the walls with a heavy sound, the walls broke and were crushed apart by the thing's collision and debris scattered all around.

Lucas coughed as the dust dispersed due to the collision with the walls and debris was thrown here and there.

Lucas looked at the huge hole in the wall, covered with dust.

As the dust started to settle in, he saw a huge skeletal body that had two big horns on its body and the fireball, Lucas had thrown had burned a part of its shoulder which had turned black.

The skeletal body's skull had cracked a little and one of its horns had been broken.

But it didn't look like it was due to Lucas's attack and the damage it suffered must be from before.

The creature shook his head and looked forward to seeing his prey and roared.

The roar shook the entire forest as the voice reverberated across the whole forest setting many people's hearts in fear.

Lucas's eyeball widened as he looked at the creature and muttered"A demonic undead. Moreover, it seems to be a higher level demon."

At the boundary, between the forest and ruins of the ancient city, Lucas stared at the creature in astonishnt seemingly at loss as to what to do.

The creature was stronger than Lucas and he gonna be defeated if he fight it which he can't afford to.

His only plausible escape is the Ring of Karakarass. With the ring of Karakarass, Lucas at its current level can ta one undead allowing him to get control over it but to completely control the undead with the ring, his will have to be strong enough to overpower the undead.

Although Lucas had planned to ta an undead before leaving, he didn't want to ta a demonic undead moreover its strength was at C rank. So, he wasn't even sure whether he can ta it or not.

"I can only try to weaken it a little before using the ring of Karakarass on it," Lucas spoke as he looked around.

Lucas's battle instinct had taken a huge leap after being possessed by his future self so even though he was standing before a strong creature, he wasn't afraid nor anxious about it.

Moreover, he is not going to die in this undead demon's hands.

The demonic undead was 6-ter talk and his body stature was similar to a large ox or a centaur.

In a split second, two green hollow lifeless eyes appeared in front of Lucas and a pair of coldly glowing claws appeared before him pointing toward his head to slash his neck.

The darkness in the vicinity of the forest seed to be disappeared for a mont as a red crimson light flashed which sounded like the incoming thunder before everything returned to normal.

A figure flashed and flew in the air and slamd against the tree spurting a mouth filled with blood.

The trunk of the tree was crushed by Lucas's collision and Lucas groaned in pain and felt a sharp pain in his back.

Lucas looked at the beast and saw a large chip on his sword.

The undead was also forced a few steps back by Lucas's strike.

Since it was already dead and his body is only made of a skeleton, it didn't even have half of its original strength making it easier for Lucas to fight back.

The demonic undead shrieked emitting weird noises. Lucas looked at its paw and saw a crack in it and smiled.

"Fortunately, It's not as formidable as I thought, "Lucas muttered.

The demonic undead charged again at Lucas.

Lucas summoned huge spikes of ice over his head and shot them toward the undead.

The spike tore the air in front of it and collided with the undead fist with a loud bang.
