The Extra's Survival Chapter 180 :Rose Vs Fredrick

Oblivious to the huge commotion going outside and Lucas's glorious deeds which even made the King of Cyprus cry and was on the verge of getting beaten, Lucas was enjoying a strawberry milkshake to shake away the bitter taste of the nasty potions.

Lucas lay in the infirmary after taking the potions while stuffing so fruits.

No matter how much he tries, he can's a shake off the nasty taste of the bitter potions which taste like shit.

The potions he got from the system didn't taste so bitter and one could at least consu that here it's just....

Also, it was the first ti, he was exhausted to such an extent cause a major part of the battle was fought with skills and he exhausted all his mana till the end.

No potions were allowed in the matches so if by any chance, Charles would have nullified his last attack, Lucas would surely be defeated.

With his glacier skill, there is no way he can match Charles's frightening ability for too long. Moreover, luck also played a part in it as Charles wasn't able to use his ability in the mid-air and wasn't able to defend his attack.

Beside him laid Charles with a sullen expression.

Lucas looked at him and knew that he was dissatisfied with the outco or so he thought.

Charles looked at Lucas with a weird gaze and asked"Where the hell did you hide that skill till now?"

Charles was more frustrated with Lucas's ability to hide a skill rather than losing the match. Even in the fortress where their lives were on the line, he just used ice spikes.

On top of that, he hadn't even used his flying blade skills and still defeated him without it.

Charles shivered as he thought about that flying blade technique.

He didn't know how badly he would be beaten if Lucas had used that skill.

Lucas smiled bitterly and scratched his head in embarrassnt and thought about what to answer.

'I think I went a little overboard when I used that huge great sword.'

"It's not a new skill. It's the sa skill which allowed to use ice spikes but with my breakthrough, it got upgraded into the next stage." Lucas spoke and tried to explain putting a serious expression.

'Skills, upgraded, breakthrough. '

'What the hell!'Charles muttered inwardly.

"Since when did spell skills start to behave like scriptures," Charles asked raising his brows.

"It's a special fusion skill that cos in between scriptures and skill," Lucas answered.

"Where did you get such an insane skill," Charles asked but paused after asking it as he realized that this was Lucas's secret and he shouldn't try to pry any further.

pᴀɴda nᴏvel Lucas looked at Charles's stiff expression and muttered "I got it in the form of a gift from certain soone for lending a hand."

"Ohhh!" Charles exclaid.

Lucas sighed.

He is already feeling worried thinking about all the headaches coming his way and his mind processor was already running at full speed to use soone as a scapegoat.

For, now Princess was the only scapegoat he can think of.

Thinking about it was one thing and using was another.

If he made Princess his scapegoat, Princess will butcher him and may hang him on gallows.

"No, for the sake of living, I can't use her and find soone else."

"What sake of living?" Charles asked as he saw Lucas rambling.

"Ohh!Nothing I am thinking about the other match."

"By the way who won the match between Rose and Fredrick," Lucas asked.

"Their match is already in the last stage, I think," Charles answered and taking out the remote opened the TV.

The TV in the infirmary near them opened and on the screen, Lucas could see the vague silhouette of two figures amidst the flying of dust and debris.

Lucas looked at the scene with a serious expression and observed each of their moves.

Dust and debris flew all around and cracks and craters ford in the ground and shockwaves of collision echoed in the whole arena.

Lucas wasn't able to see a clear picture of the fight from the TV but he can conclude one thing.

The match is quite fearso and was in a league of its own since both Fredrick and Rose were in 4-Star rank.

Unlike Lucas and Charles's match which was mainly fought with skills and bloodline ability.

Rose and Fredrick's match was more close combat-oriented as both Rose and Fredrick exchanged blows after blows relying purely on their skills.

On the ground, two figures panted heavily after exchanging several blows and the battle was in the stalnt while no one able to get an advantage over each other.

No one knew, for how much ti this status quo will remain as neither of them had used their full power and just engaged in minor skirmish trying to outdo one another while saving the strength and mana to beat the opponent at once.

Rose stared at Fredrick with a solemn expression.

Her chest rose and fall as she took deep and heavy breaths. Her hair though dishevelled still fluttered and danced in elegance.

On the other hand, Frederick gripped his spear and raised his guard seeing Rose's expression.

If it was any other situation, he would just take up his ti to capture the mory of Rose's figure. The hair stuck to her face along with her warrior pose coupled with her temperant gave her an unearthly look which made his heartbeat hastened but he knew it wasn't ti to lose himself in enjoying the scene.

Rose pulled the bow and fired arrows one after another.

Fredrick spun his spear at a high speed and used his footwork and danced around to dodge and deflect the arrows.

TACK!TACK!TACK!

The arrows were blown away by hitting the spears.

Rose loaded three arrows on his bow and fired all three of them toward Fredrick.

Fredrick was about to deflect the arrow when he had a sudden premonition and pulled the spear back and swing it.

BOOM!

Out of three arrows, there was an arrow which she fired with her full force which took him by surprise and even though he deflected it, he was forced to take a few steps back.

Fredrick wiped off the blood from his lips and started to close the distance.

Rose fired a few more arrows but seeing it was not working as Fredrick moved like a gust of wind leaving behind afterimages.

With the target being unstable and she isn't able to lock his location, she broke the bow into blades and she dashed around Fredrick to engage in close combat.

CLANG!CLANG!TANG!

Fredrick's spear and Rose's blade et with each other and a loud crackling noise bood as both the weapons clash with each other.

Fredrick was surprised as he didn't think that Rose's efficiency in wielding blades would be so high.

'Just how much did she train to reach such a level.'Fredrick thought inwardly as Rose parried Fredrick's attack quite easily though it was true that Fredrick was going easy on her.

She pulled the long string of the bow and stretched it by a few margins, she wrapped it around the top of the spear and stomped on it to the ground making it hard for Fredrick to pull back the spear and pull the strings to extend, she threw the dagger around Fredrick aiming at his neck.

Fredrick's eyeball contracted to see her ruthless and he tried to pull back his spear by applying his strength but coupled with the strings wrapped around it and applying pressure on his spear tip by her full body weight, Fredrick wasn't able to pull back the spear so he let go one of his hand and slid down the ground.

The blade passed over his head cutting a few strands of hair as he bent his back and let his spear go but before soone released it, he kicked the other end of the spear and sorsaulted backwards.

BANG!

The spear that was kicked by Frederick spun and flew back and Rose who had wrapped the threads around it was pulled by the spear as she flew in the air but she spun her body in the mid of the fight gracefully and landed on the ground on both of her feet and stared at Fredrick with a cold gaze.

She kicked the spear towards Fredrick with her full strength.

Fredrick stared at the spear that was shot at him like an arrow and he raised both his hand and tried to catch the spear but with the force, it was kicked he was forced to take a few steps back.

Catching the spear, he looked at Rose only to et her cold gaze that made her shiver.

He can feel that Rose was angry for so reason.

"Fredrick stop playing and get serious. If you are strong enough to defeat easily then let's just finish it." Rose spoke in a cold tone.

Fredrick heard Rose's words and smiled"You are the wrong Rose. I am not playing around. You have beco quite strong and frightening. It's just that I haven't used my all moves and relied on my strength to fight you."

"But since you want to end this so badly so there is no reason for to refuse, "Fredrick spoke.

As he took a deep breath, his gaze beca sharp and lightning started to crackle on his spear.

Thundering sounds started to appear in the arena.

" Prepare yourself, Rose, I am coming."
