Lucas wasted no more words and activated his flash steps and increased his agility to the max, before dashing forward to et Fredrick head-on.
With each step he took, he exerted a force which made the ground shudder and cracks spread out very far and wide, the ground opened as if a huge bulky mass of a living being stepped on it.
Fredrick still seed to be faster than Lucas and he was the one who closed the distance quicker and arrived before Lucas and stopping his body on its track, he took advantage of the remaining montum and stabbed forward with his spear.
Fredrick's spear technique was so fierce and direct. It didn't seem to be any fancy technique that Lucas had read as described in the book rather it just looked like a normal stab.
But Lucas knew that this seemingly ordinary stab was packed with ridiculous power and if one didn't remain vigilant, he would be killed on the spot.
Raising the sword, Lucas stopped as soon as Fredrick stopped. Like him, Lucas harnessed the strength of the remaining montum and with all the muscles of his arms expanding to squeeze the strengths, he slashed forward with all his might and emitted a fierce frightening war cry signalling the beginning of the war.
Even before the weapons t head-on with each other. Fredrick's spear split the air before him in half and tore off the air in front of him, with a heavy force of the stab while Lucas's sword caused the surrounding temperature to went by a margin emitting a fierce cracking sound.
All this happened within a period and finally, two weapons collided with each other and two different forces clashed against each other to see who reign supre.
For an instant, the ti seed to stop flowing while the people watching them even forget to breathe seeing the clash but the peace didn't last long enough.
Following the clash, the grounds started to shake before which the tiny cracks ford on the ground which started to enlarge while rocks and debris started to blow away.
Then a huge circularized mass of air gathered with both fighters at the centre which emitted a huge rumbling sound.

A cataclysmic explosion shook the whole Colosseum with a huge boom, boom thunder.
The huge sphere of concentrated air over a couple of ters in diater exploded ferociously outward and everything seed to be blown away and tuned into dust.

The flas of Lucas's sword seed to burst and exploded outward and the lightning from Fredrick's spear crackled wildly around the flas. Both the elents beca entangled there and a war of superiority was waged between them.
Fredrick felt that and had been struck by a huge hamr and the fingers went numb as he was unable to penetrate an inch when the spear collided with Lucas's sword which seed to be quite hard, the mana of lightning swirling around him and the spear broke out like a bubble and burst out into the surrounding atmosphere as a bolt of lightning flashed.
He couldn't believe the terrifying power contained in Lucas's attack.
When Lucas's sword collided with his spear, Fredrick had to use every fighting experience and skill he had learnt to force out as much power possible to stand grounded which causes his legs to sink into the ground and shattered the ground forming a deep pit otherwise he would have been blown away.
Lucas was not one of those to give in easily and he gritted his teeth to put more strength and pressure into his sword.
At the point of contact between the edge of the blood sword and the tip of the spear, huge sparks and flas were emitted and after engaging for a mont.
Both of them were finally unable to contain the huge energy and pressure emitted from the clashes and both of them were blown away by the explosion to a few ters.
Both of them channelized their body strengths and landed on the ground and looked at the location of impact with surprised expressions.
The rocks and ground where the crater was ford seed to be turned into magma and the temperature of the explosion had gone by hundred degrees.
Moreover, they were astonished that none of them was heavily injured and thought that the montum of their forces had shielded them.
Just like a person who suddenly put his hands-on hot oil after wetting his hands, the water evaporated due to the high temperature and ford a layer over the hands shielding the hot air, the force and aura that was emitted from their body enveloped them and saved them.
Though, they weren't exactly fine as Lucas can feel several small internal injuries and pain which were on their way to assault him but were stopped by the adrenaline rush and excitent he was feeling from the battle.
Lucas raised his sword and again collided with Fredrick.
As both of them engaged in a frontal battle, Lucas prepared to continue his attack when Fredrick suddenly turned his body and lifted his legs at a strange angle, Lucas noticed his odd motion and releases the grip of the sword from on hand and lifted it to block the attack.
But to his surprise, Fredrick made a strange move which shocked Lucas and the kick connected against the left side of his body below his ribs.
Lucas felt pain under the chest and felt his lower ribs were crushed and turned into powder but instead of retreating, he used the montum of Fredrick's attack and spun his body and accompanied Fredrick's attack and raised his left foot and kicked Fredrick's head and at so ti while his body went flying.
BANG!BANG!
Two small bangs were heard and Lucas's body flew in the air while Fredrick's body tilted to the side and hit the ground fiercely with a loud bang and his head slamd against the floor.
A painful groan escaped from Lucas's mouth as he was sent flying and coughed a mouthful of blood as his body slid on the ground a few ters.
Lucas's lips curled upwards with a playful smile as he saw Fredrick's head smashed on the ground and blood trickled from his forehead.
Lucas suddenly attack surprised Fredeick, he didn't though Lucas would trade blows for blows even after being in so much pain of ribs being crushed.
And instead of pained expressions, he had a smile on his face and looked like a maniac.
"Maniac," Frederick muttered with a small smile and wiped off the blood from his head.
Lucas wiped off the blood from the corner of his lips and gripped the hilt of his sword tightly and walked on the shattered ground.
The blue lightning started to cracker around Fredrick and started to cover the spear.
"Why did he look like this every ti he started to emit lightning. Maybe the author used Thor as the role model to shape his character." Lucas joked to lighten the mood a little.
Lucas raised his sword and looked at both sides of the blood coloured sword and was fairly surprised. There was not a single dent or chip or scratch on the sword. It was as if all the blows were a child's play for this blade.
Moreover, though the blade was dull it beca quite sharp every ti mana is pumped into it.
"I knew it, Mr Harris wouldn't give a useless stick. I an sword. But what is this sword? It's quite amazing or should I say, it's quite amusing." Lucas muttered as he examined the blade which looked like an ordinary stick but at the sa ti it was quite unordinary.
Moreover, one had to take into account that currently, this sword is up against Doom piercer, a heavenly grade artifact.
Lucas opened his legs slightly and bent his knees a little. He raised his sword by holding it with both of his hands with the tip pointing at Fredrick and slightly titled his body forward and looked at Fredrick who aid his spear at him.
Fredrick took a deep breath and closed his eyes and for a mont, he heard his spear word.
[Fredrick, be careful. The sword isn't an ordinary sword, I can feel the remains of an ancient artifact in it. Moreover, I feel that Lucas's montum is increasing every ti he fights. I rembered that there was a bloodline like this where one becos crazy and get stronger, the more they fight. So, be careful. Don't go easy on him.].
'Wait! What do you an by that?'Fredrick spoke with a surprised expression?
He can feel the minute changes happening in Lucas but he didn't expect Lucas's montum to be rising slowly.
'Doom are you sure about that,' Fredrick asked again.
[Yes, Fredrick I am almost sure. Maybe because of his low grade he hadn't awakened it but I can feel that there is an extrely strong power couching inside him.]
When he opened his eyes, eternal coldness appeared in his gaze. He spoke no additional words and a tightening his spear.
Lightning burst from his body and danced crazily around his body as he charged forward at lightning speed.
Lucas silently circulated the mana in his body and covered his sword in a crimson layer of light preparing for the next blow.
