Lucas landed before Sunset City and walked toward the City Lord’s mansion quickly.
Two guards crossed his path and stopped him.
Lucas saw the identification token.
They stared at him from head to toe and gave him a skeptical look.
They knew the identity of the token but seeing the boy carrying it, they started to doubt whether it was fake or not.
"Please inform the City Lord quickly, the situation is quite dire."
"The entire city is in trouble." Lucas pleaded.
The guard’s expression stiffened and he decided to inform the Lord about it while Lucas stood at the gates waiting for confirmation.
A servant ca hurriedly and muttered sothing into the guard’s ears and the guard, nodding his head, opened the gates for Lucas to enter.
Lucas stepped in and followed the servant who stole a few glances at Lucas and said"Lord, is already in the eting room waiting for you."
The servant led him to the door and asked Lucas to enter.
Lucas opened the door and saw a big conference hall with a round table in the middle.
He saw a middle-aged man sitting on the chair accompanied by two people, one looked to be a butler, and another one was a 4-Star warrior.
The middle-aged man greeted Lucas and spoke.
"Welco to my humble abode."
"My na is Jasper, The City Lord of Sunset City."
"Sir Jasper, Nice to see you."
"I am Lucas Bright and I have brought an important letter from the chief of the guarding pass," Lucas said and took out an envelope and handed it to the man.
Jasper took out and tore the outer layer and started to read the contents.
Beads of sweat ford on his forehead and his eyeball bulged with disbelief as he got up from his seat.
"How did things turn out like this?"
"The Orcs have already started the siege. Don’t they fear being trampled by us?’Jasper scread.
Lucas sighed and spoke" The situation is bad. The guarding pass had been breached."
"I took part in that fight and we were on the winning side but due to a 8-Star Orc interference we lost and the entire Northern land had been cut off from the central plains. The Orc is already starting to lay the foundation to move out."
"The Northern Land doesn’t have any strong overlord and since it was filled with rocky mountains, there isn’t any noble to unite the land. Few baron and viscount ranks have lands here but they all left it to their underlying and moved sowhere else." Jasper spoke.
"And about the large-scale migration. Do you think it is possible to move 70,000-1000,000 people in masses?"
"The chances of danger and possible risk are quite high," Jasper spoke with a worried voice.
"It’s better than staying here and dying," Lucas spoke.
"Can you give a brief about your forces?"
"Our forces are big but we lack quality. The Captain is the only 4-star and we had two 3-Stars."
"Except them, everyone one is either 2-Star or 1-Star and might sum up to 170," Jasper replied.
" Hmmm!"Lucas nodded and tapped his fingers on the table.
His gesture and the thoughtful look on his face made him look like a kid trying to be an adult.
Even Jasper and his servants were skeptical about it but feeling his aura, they knew that this guy wasn’t an ordinary individual.
Even the Captain of the Patrol Team, Bush who was at 4-Star was feeling inferior in his presence.
"No, we have to move out of this city."
"I don’t know why the Imperial forces are taking the ti but I am sure that they are trying their best to reach here as quickly as possible."
"If we are lucky we can et them on the way."
"And with the migrant’s displacent, the remaining troops under the chief can also accompany the guards and provide safety," Lucas spoke and stood up.
"Sir Jasper, please form a squadron of guards and start the evacuation. Our goal is Leonx city."
"It will take nearly a day by foot to reach there and it is the safest place now. They have a strong regint and an ample number of soldiers." Lucas ordered.
Lucas even thought of reaching Xanth and others quickly and asking them to pull out after evacuating the villagers.
Lucas after making a few plans and discussing a few things with Jasper walked out.
He took out his smartphone which still had no signal but at least it wasn’t the case with the other one.
He took out the black-colored phone and pressed the code to open it and dialed the number.
Ring...Ring...
Lucas waited for so ti but no one picked up from the other side.
Lucas dialed two more tis and finally, the call connected.
A buzzing sound was heard from the other side that almost gave Lucas a slight headache.
KREEEEECH!
"Hello!Hello!"Lucas shouted and spoke as he had been taught by Lesh.
" This is Chief Lesh! The Northern Pass has fallen and Orcs have occupied it."
"We need imdiate support!"
"I repeat!"
"We need imdiate support. Thousands of lives are in jeopardy." Lucas shouted so that the other side could hear his voice if there was so problem.
"This is Steve from the Imperial forces. We are under attack by the Villain Society and are trying to fend it off correctly. We have also encountered an S rank dungeon break and our forces have been split into two trying to deal with both sides."
"We will try to shake them off and disperse a small force with a strong powerhouse. Please try to defend or evacuate the nearby City."
"Also it might take tw.....!!!!"
"Hello!Hello!
" Steve!"Lucas scread and found that the call had been cut off and as he dialed again, it was said that the number was out of reach.
"Damn!" Lucas cursed and almost squeezed the phone.
He tried to control his impulse from throwing the phone.
Lucas’s heart started to beat in fear and he wondered how so many bad things could happen at once.
’Wasn’t such a thing considered a big event so why was there no ntion of it in the book or did the plot already start to go off track?’
’No, such a big event cannot be hidden and there ought to be sothing about it. Dungeon break, Orcs rampage, and Villain Society act, there must be sothing going on.’
’The situation was quite grim. The Northern part may be reoccupied if lost, once the Emperor becos serious but the loss of lives and casualties might be too large.’
’Think Lucas, think Lucas. There must be sothing I am missing.’
Lucas tried to think about the future events trying to connect the link.
Once Lucas returned to the Horizon would be prepared to visit Ralph, where Frederick, Rose and Charles’s team would win and after so minor encounters, they would co back but at that ti sothing unusual happened in the Mist Forest and all the beasts and monsters would attack.
Everyone would co by train from Ralph and it would pass through Mist City and the train would be attacked.
And Frederick would be separated from the group and found himself in the Mist Forest, where he would find Villain Society using artifacts to create disorder and chaos in the forest.
"Artifact!" Lucas’s eyes glowed.
"Shit! I got it. Those asshole’s eyes are on that damned artifact."
"I have to find Lesh," Lucas screams and jumps up to fly.

This ssage was already written in the previous Chapter but I want to inform again.I have just entered university and with a new environnt and new schedule, it is hard to write two ongoing novels as each Chapter takes an hour or half an hour.I am not a full-ti author and so it is still difficult for to dedicate 4-5 hours fully on writing is still a bit difficult ,so I hope you all understand.
The update schedule may not be uniform but it isn’t hiatus or dropped.
