"Feifei, do you know what happened?"

Mrs. Fang noticed her daughter looking out of sorts, frowning, "Is it about that large expense from earlier?"

Fang Yifei remained silent, only nodding woodenly, "Brother Shiyu must have found out about us."

"How could you be so careless!"

Mrs. Fang complained, "This isn’t the first ti. Last ti, your dad lost a few projects and got scolded fiercely by your grandpa!"

"So annoying, do you think I wasn’t being careful!"

"Your aunt says he’s just playing around, that you’d still be the future Eldest Young Madam Song, but I feel this Song Shiyu is really biased!"

"I don’t know either, maybe it’s Grandpa Song’s arrangent, and you should consider the Fang Family’s situation over the past few years!"

Fang Yifei shared her thoughts simply, "I think Grandpa Song is intentionally trying to suppress the Fang Family a bit."

Hearing her daughter’s analysis, Mrs. Fang fell into deep thought, "No, I’ll talk to your father about this. For now, behave yourself for a few days!"

"Got it, I’m attending the Song Family’s collaborations live stream PK on Sunday, tell Grandpa we need his full support!"

She waved her hand to shoo her mom out.

Right now, she’s more confused than she is!

Is Song Shiyu doing this because he really likes Chi Youyou, or is it because of the Song Family?

So frustrating!

Luckily all her energy is focused on the live stream PK; she doesn’t have ti to bother with Chi Youyou.

First, deal with this strear Youzi in the live room!

Chi Youyou and the others had just walked around the factory when quickly a middle-aged man rushed over.

"Uncle Feng!"

This man was the factory manager Shen Xiaomi had ntioned, Feng Hao.

"Xiaomi, you must inform your grandpa about this right away, and report it to the police. The sooner the truth is uncovered, the less the loss."

During their phone call earlier, Feng Hao’s first reaction was anger and wanting to call the police, but Chi Youyou and the others held him back.

"Sorry, Uncle Feng, actually we haven’t found that wire yet."

Shen Xiaomi glanced at Chi Youyou, seeing her nod at her, she then explained their concerns, "Uncle Feng, we didn’t an to deceive you."

"What is this, but after you ntioned it, I did rember sothing."

Feng Hao waved his hand, at almost 50 years old, how could he haggle over such things with them.

Besides, he thought they did the right thing. He suspected soone was causing trouble behind the scenes, but didn’t have the full picture as they did.

"Not too long ago, your uncle ca here with your cousin, said they wanted to look around."

Feng Hao recalled, "I didn’t think much of it before, since they often visited to inspect, and the process was standard, but that ti, they were extraordinarily enthusiastic! Yes, extraordinarily enthusiastic for real!"

He explained as he recalled the day; they not only toured the equipnt but also chatted intimately with a lot of workers.

This step was new, claiming to understand workers’ needs better so they could provide well-being better.

"The employee benefits seem to have indeed been updated."

He spoke while taking out his phone, referring to an announcent from the company’s group chat three days ago, "That day, I saw several employees quite happy, those two did a good deed for once."

In places of power, do your job.

Leaders who consider their employees, employees might feel goodwill toward them, so even strive trendously for them.

"Youyou, what are you thinking?"

Shen Xiaomi noticed Chi Youyou looking serious, patted her shoulder.

"Nothing?"

It wasn’t her fault for overthinking; this series of actions was too coincidental, making her feel manipulation was obviously at play, "Uncle Feng, can we still find that wire we dealt with yesterday?"

She didn’t express her thoughts for now, needing to gather evidence first.

"It should be there, I recall I asked them to place it in the scrap room, every weekend, soone cos to collect the scraps, which is both environntally friendly and allows waste to be utilized."

He opened the backyard door, taking them to the scrap room, and sure enough, they found the wire bitten by a rat inside.

"This doesn’t look problematic, does it?"

Feng Hao examined it carefully, still not seeing any issue.

"Uncle Feng, may I take a look?"

"Of course!"

The others didn’t know, but Feng Hao was aware; this production line’s boss was actually Chi Youyou!

The Shen Family was just a cooperative processor.

He was full of curiosity about this chic young lady, having heard she ca from an ordinary farming family.

He kind of didn’t believe it!

Maybe they’re fooling him!

"Wow, this forgery is too advanced, really hard to spot!"

Chi Youyou marveled, "But precisely because it’s so well forged, it’s problematic."

"Youyou, quit keeping us in suspense!"

Zhao Qingran was very anxious!

"This looks like a rat gnawing, even the bite marks are well-made, but which rat gnaws without leaving claw marks?"

"Claw marks?"

"In the village, lots of rats, often household food bags get gnawed on, or livestock gets bitten, all sorts of stuff."

Chi Youyou pointed the wire to them, "But look, this wire is too clean, except for the bite marks, there are no traces anywhere else!"

"It really is!"

On the black wire, aside from so fingerprints, there were no linear claw marks at all.

"Forging rat bites is simple; just know how they look."

Everyone nodded, agreeing.

"What do we do now?"

Knowing it was manmade, but without a way to identify who did it.

"Now that our theory is confird, we will investigate step by step, as only those working in the factory can handle this wire."

Chi Youyou squinted, while acknowledging that coming out to work for a living is hard, they weren’t saints.

Even if just a small fry was involved, they need to find the person, making them answerable for their actions.

"Let’s not alert them for now, we will conduct our investigation first."

"Okay, leave it to and Uncle Feng. Youyou, what about your live stream today?"

Shen Xiaomi glanced at the ti, returning from the South Suburb would take another 50 minutes by car. If Chi Youyou planned to stream tonight, she should leave now.

Chi Youyou took a deep breath, "I’ll do the stream as scheduled! Not streaming would only give them excuses!"

However...

Even though she was ready, upon opening the live stream, the comnts still infuriated her and raised her blood pressure.
