"Chi Youyou, are these the miniature varieties you ntioned before?"
A middle-aged man with blond hair and blue eyes squinted and held up the reading glasses hanging around his neck, examining the vegetables submitted by Chi Youyou over and over again.
"Yes, Teacher Abby, these are the ones I brought from Huaxia. Here are the seeds, you can cultivate them later as well."
Chi Youyou handed over another small packet.
Abby looked delighted.
These miniature vegetables are excellent; they complent M Country’s Western cuisine perfectly.
Many people often have trouble matching vegetables with Western als. For example, if you buy a head of broccoli, one person might take several als to finish it. It would be great if they were all as small as cherry tomatoes—take as much as you need.
"The new varieties cultivated by Chi Youyou are really impressive. Everyone should engage with her more often."
Getting approval from Teacher Abby made not only Chi Youyou happy but all the exchange students from Huaxia proud, this was a pride belonging to their country!
Except for Li i.
She felt very uneasy, thinking that it was just because of her good family background that she could achieve all this!
"Daisy, what’s the background of this Huaxia woman? Teacher Abby rarely praises anyone. Could her cultivated varieties be even better than yours?"
"I don’t know, but these so-called miniature varieties just seem like a gimmick to !"
During the group discussion session, a few foreign won gathered together, whispering to each other.
Li i happened to be sitting next to them, her eyes lit up, and she quietly leaned over.
"Hello, I’m an exchange student from Huaxia, you can just call i."
"Do we know each other?"
A girl with a wild street-style and explosive hair looked at her disdainfully.
"Alice, don’t be like this."
A girl nad Daisy apologized to Li i, "Sorry for startling you. Alice just has a temper. Hello, I’m Daisy."
"So you’re Daisy! I’ve heard about you. You’re one of the best students at the Royal University’s Agricultural College! I even read your paper on extending the storage ti of crops!"
Li i didn’t expect her luck to be so good to run into soone she had researched about before!
"Thank you, I still have a lot to work on. Your peer, Chi Youyou, is also very talented."
"Chi Youyou?"
Li i smiled but didn’t say anything, yet this small gesture caught Alice’s attention.
"What? Do you think she’s not that great?"
"No, Alice, I didn’t an it like that. Youyou is excellent, and she cos from a good family, which isn’t a secret. She is the daughter of the Cheng Family, and her family provides her ample space to study."
"So that’s it, just another one relying on her family!"
Alice sneered.
M Country Royal University has many aristocratic students, as well as many self-made civilian students who got in. Both groups seem to get along well on the surface, but secretly there’s a lot of competition.
The aristocratic students look down on the civilians, and the civilians likewise look down on the aristocrats.
"Alice, family background is just part of it, but I think this Youyou must have so exceptional qualities. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have earned Teacher Abby’s appreciation."
"Hmph, it’s just capital’s maneuvering. Daisy, you’re the true pride of our Agricultural College! You’ve worked your way up to being invited to major international agricultural seminars and auctions!"
"Alice! Keep your voice down!"
