"Youyou, are you sure you can go up by yourself?"
The car stopped at the entrance of Innovation Park, and Chi Zaozao asked once more.
"It’s fine. I told you it’s a legitimate company."
She ruffled Chi Zaozao’s little head, "Be good and wait for in the car. Don’t cause any trouble."
The last sentence was clearly a warning.
"Hurry up and go, preschool starts at 10. Don’t be late on my account."
Chi Zaozao scooted to the side, avoiding Chi Youyou’s claws.
"Song Shiyu, I’ll have to trouble you. I’ll be back soon."
"Mm."
Song Shiyu casually nodded, but his gaze didn’t shift until Chi Youyou left... By the ti he snapped out of it, he noticed Chi Zaozao with her little hands crossed over her chest, looking at him like a little adult.
"Got sothing to say?"
He looked at Chi Zaozao in the rearview mirror, "Don’t worry, I’ve had this company thoroughly investigated, and the contract reviewed by the legal departnt. There aren’t any major issues, just so terms that favor the company, but it’s a win-win situation... Do you understand what I’m saying?"
He assud Chi Zaozao was worried about Chi Youyou, so he briefly explained using simple terms.
"Do you like Chi Youyou?"
Huh?
Song Shiyu raised an eyebrow, his expression suddenly changed, and he turned around curiously to face Chi Zaozao, "Do kids understand what liking soone ans?"
"I’m five years old, not a three-year-old kid anymore."
Song Shiyu: "..."
"Alright, Chi Zaozao the little adult, if you must know, I don’t dislike your sister. In fact, when I first t her, I found her quite interesting."
"So you don’t like her?"
"It’s not exactly like that..."
Unexpectedly, this kid is quite hard to fool!
At least more clever than Chi Youyou!
"Though you’re arranged by mom to be Chi Youyou’s fiance, not just anyone can be my sister’s brother-in-law. At least, not right now, you can’t."
Chi Zaozao looked at Song Shiyu with a smug face, showing no regard for him.
She was just calling him brother-in-law, and now she’s changed.
Song Shiyu suddenly wanted to laugh. Was he just disapproved of by a five-year-old brat?
Interesting.
He suddenly felt like visiting Phoenix Mountain to see what his future mother-in-law and father-in-law were like, to have raised two children with such different personalities.
Chi Youyou, unaware of what happened in the car, followed the address her manager sent her. She also sent a WeChat ssage.
"Amber, I’m here!"
"Got it! I’m coming down to et you! Did you wear a mask, sweetheart?"
"Mm-hmm, I’m also wearing a hat and a light blue dress, standing next to the statue at the entrance."
"Alright!"
Wearing a mask was Amber’s reminder before setting off, saying that since she had not shown her face during livestreams, minimizing exposure helps maintain a sense of mystery.
It wasn’t a big deal for her anyway.
She obediently waited at the entrance, occasionally glancing inside.
Five minutes later, a young woman with black-frad glasses ca running out of the elevator, waving as she jogged over.
"Youbao!"
"Hello, Amber."
She recognized the voice imdiately.
"Sorry to keep you waiting. I’ve prepared everything for the signing, it won’t take much of your ti."
"Alright, thank you."
"Let’s head up now, quick and decisive!"
"Well, if it isn’t Amber~"
The two had just finished their greetings when an annoying voice ca from behind, "Is this the new bumpkin who’s popped up recently? The country strear you just signed?"
