An NPC attendant led them through the building to a teleportation chamber in a private courtyard. Unlike the bustling, crowded teleport nexus in the public square, this one was quiet, almost deserted. Occasionally, an NPC in exotic attire would pass through, speaking in a language that was utterly alien.

Lila looked around, puzzled. "What language is that? I can't understand a word."

Kael just gave her a mysterious smile. "You'll see."

The attendant made a few adjustnts to the nexus console, and a system notification popped up for both of them.

System: You are about to teleport to [Gemspire City] on the Thaloria server. Proceed?

"Yes."

In a flash of light, they vanished and reappeared in the city of Gemspire.

Just like their departure point, the arrival terminal was not a public nexus. They were standing in the quiet courtyard of the Mythrosia Empire's diplomatic embassy on the Thaloria server. An NPC receptionist spotted them and approached with a welcoming smile.

"Welco to Gemspire City."

Lila took in her surroundings. In the real world, she'd been to the planet Thaloria for business, but this was her first ti seeing the Thaloria Empire inside the ga. The architecture and decor were strikingly similar to classical Europe. Curious to see the city itself, and noticing Kael was busy speaking with the NPC, she didn't wait and walked straight out the front gate.

"Hey, wait up," Kael called, quickly concluding his business and hurrying after her.

Lila was already on the street.

Her sudden appearance drew imdiate attention from the players milling about. Whether it was her striking looks or the massive greatsword strapped to her back, they were captivated. Several walked up to her, speaking animatedly in a language she couldn't comprehend.

Lila was completely baffled. For business purposes, she’d had the entire Thalorian language pack uploaded to her neural interface; she had no problem communicating with them in reality. Why couldn't she understand a single word they were saying in the ga?

Just then, Kael caught up, grabbing her arm and pulling her back inside the embassy grounds.

"Don't be in such a rush, Lila."

She pointed back at the crowd outside. "I know the local language. Why can't I understand them?"

Kael chuckled. "It doesn't matter what you know in the real world. In the ga, you need a translator for cross-server, or cross-empire, communication."

Lila looked completely baffled. "What? That sounds like a massive pain."

"It's not as bad as you think. Co with ."

Kael led her to the embassy's administrative office, where a young woman sat behind a desk. "Hi," he said to the attendant. "We just arrived from the Mythrosia Empire. We need translation services."

"Of course," the attendant replied. "For how many days?"

"Three days, for both of us."

"That will be ten gold per person, per day. A total of sixty gold. Confirm?"

"Confirm."

A system prompt appeared for both of them.

System: [Bilateral Translation Mythrosia Empire – Thaloria Empire] has been activated. Duration: 3 Days.

Kael clapped his hands together. "Alright, now we can go explore."

Lila nodded, still muttering under her breath. "Why does Godpath have to make everything so complicated?" Kael just shook his head, not bothering to explain the ga design choice.

The two of them stepped back out onto the street.

If Lila's appearance had drawn attention, Kael's arrival turned every head in the safe zone. It wasn't just their foreign features; it was the [Galeharrow] on his back.

The bow's transformation was impossible to miss. Most players couldn't inspect an item's stats, but what really made it look legendary was the brilliant aura it radiated after being Awakened. Other players might try to get attention with flashy weapon skins, but none of them commanded the eye like the authentic glow of a high-tier awakened item.

Lila imdiately noticed the problem. "Can you toggle the visual effects on that bow?" she asked in a low voice.

Kael grinned. "I can, but there's no need. We're here to make a statent."

As if on cue, a crowd three or four tis larger than before began to form around them. And now, Lila could understand every word.

"Sir, where did you get that bow?"

"How do you get an effect like that?"

"Miss, your greatsword looks incredible, can you link the stats in chat?"

"Their nas... they look really familiar. I think I've seen them sowhere before."

Being bombarded by so many questions was starting to get on Lila's nerves, but Kael was unfazed. Player characters had no collision physics in the city; they couldn't block his path. Ignoring the throng of people, he started walking down the street with Lila in tow.

Suddenly, a voice cut through the noise. "Dawnbreaker? Lila? Is that you?"

Kael stopped and turned. A player nad "EpicFailGuy" was pushing his way through the crowd. The mont Kael saw the na, he knew it was a player from Earth.

He smirked at Lila. "See? Our reputation precedes us."

EpicFailGuy finally reached them, his face flushed with excitent. "It really is you! I'm EpicFailGuy, leader of the Misfits guild. I heard from SugarRush that Dawnbreaker was coming, so I've been waiting here." He then glanced at Lila. "I can't believe Lila is here too. This is aweso."

Kael and Lila both gave him a nod. "Hey."

Zoe was in Windre City, but the capital of the Thaloria Empire was Gemspire. It made sense that she'd ask the Earth players here to keep an eye out.

EpicFailGuy leaned in closer to Kael, his voice dropping to a whisper. "You guys are being way too loud. You're going to attract the wrong kind of attention."

Kael looked at the earnest guild leader. Since when did players from Earth have to keep their heads down?

He clapped EpicFailGuy on the shoulder, about to speak, when a shout ca from the crowd.

"It's Guild Leader Nyria!"

The crowd parted like water. A five-person squad strode through the newly ford lane, led by a woman nad Nyria. Her gear was unique, clearly not a standard class set. She looked Lila up and down before letting out an audible, dismissive scoff. Then, her eyes settled on Kael, a mocking glint in them.

"So," she said, her voice dripping with arrogance, "so you're the one they're calling the top player from the Mythrosia Empire(Earth Server)?"

Kael glanced at EpicFailGuy, who was now staring at the ground, not daring to say a word. Kael turned his gaze back to Nyria.

"I wouldn't call myself the strongest on my ho server," he said calmly. "But here? Yeah, I probably am."

"What's that supposed to an?" Nyria shot back, her eyes narrowing.

"Oh, sorry. I wasn't talking to you."

Kael paused, letting his eyes sweep over her, her team, and the entire gawking crowd.

"I an that everyone present... is trash."
