These people weren’t ordinary, clearly backed by soone extraordinary. Li Yan had recently faced troubles, and if anyone had the ans to retaliate, it was Liu Yuyang. Li Yan had dealt with Liu Yuyang, but there was still Liu’s family. Liu Yuyang’s father was Zhang Tianyi’s business colleague, with a considerable family business, and surely didn’t believe his son committed suicide over embezzlent. Though they couldn’t deduce exactly, uncovering the relationship between Li Yan and Liu Yuyang wouldn’t be too hard.
"Are you Li Yan?" the robust man asked directly.
Waiting for Li Yan to finish his call before speaking seed courteous, but his tone naturally slipped into the authoritative, lacking the politeness of a ’please’ or ’sir’.
Li Yan furrowed his brow, seemingly bothered by the tone: "I am. You are...?"
"We need to discuss sothing with you. Please cooperate!" The robust man said, motioning for a prepared car to pull up right outside the cinema. "Please!"
"Who are you? Why should I cooperate with you?" Li Yan pretended not to notice the others.
The man’s brow twitched, but he patiently explained, "It’s inconvenient to talk here. It’s not sothing succinct; you’ll understand once there. I can assure you we just want to discuss a matter, no ill intentions."
Li Yan smirked internally: No ill intentions now, but after the discussion, the intentions might turn sinister!
Yet, he remained unfazed, revealing nothing. Even if Liu Yuyang had recent friction with him, it only pointed to Liu Yuyang’s motive. As long as Liu Yuyang hadn’t acted first, Li Yan had no motive, nor could anyone prove anything.
