Because of this, when they discovered King’s involvent, triggering his wrath, they imdiately saw him as a target that must be swiftly eliminated. One reason is King’s intervention caused their plan to fail, resulting in huge losses. Another is they face the trouble of King’s revenge!

After finishing the call, Li Yan directly took a car to Prince Hotel, and along the way, he made a phone call to book a room, preferably one next to room 2928. He hadn’t been completely free these past couple of days and hadn’t rested enough, so he planned to first have a rest at the hotel while waiting for Nian Yufei to return.

"What are you doing here?"
They both asked each other almost simultaneously upon recognizing each other; Li Yan was looking at Chen Xiaoen, whom he knew from here. She had already gone to work at Heaven Group Headquarters, working as a receptionist.
"I’m taking a break... visiting a friend." Chen Xiaoen pointed to a few other front desk girls who were smiling at them with teasing expressions.
