Chapter 34: Insulting Without Cursing
"Isn’t this Miss Wen? I heard you resigned a few days ago, what’s up? Planning to change careers and beco a star? Or a manager?"
As the voice drifted over, a woman about twenty-seven or twenty-eight years old walked over. Following her was a man. Judging from their steps and deanor, it’s clear she’s more dominant, and he isn’t her partner.
Li Yan glanced over and basically grasped their situation. He estimated they had dealings before, but judging from Wen Qianyi’s attitude and this person’s tone, they likely had business competition rather than friendship.
