Chapter 355: I Want to Leave You in Ruins

What she could ascertain was there was no rapport between her and Li Yan, while Matsushima Kui and Shinohara Mirai were friends who probably often played cards together, having chemistry. Besides, they spoke Yun Country language, preventing Li Yan from deceiving them, while they could converse in Beihai language to tip each other off. Hence, teaming with Li Yan wasn’t an option.
Out of them, choosing either yielded different outcos. So teaming with her would increase the likelihood of loss. Conversely, as Matsushima Kui proposed it, she was likely more skilled, thus increasing the chance of success.

After several rounds, Wen Qianyi was exasperated, regretting not choosing Shinohara Mirai. Not that it’s a case of playing dumb, but her luck was shockingly good, consistently drawing great hands alongside Li Yan’s adequate teamwork, with Matsushima Kui occasionally ’ssing up,’ leading to several straight losses, even jumping levels. As they played 10, she and her partner were stuck at 3.
Consecutive losses and drinking spurred a few rounds of effort; however, trailing too much, catching up was difficult. By the ti they played 7, Li Yan and Shinohara Mirai finished playing A, clinching the first round victory.
"Haha, who would’ve thought you’re this good!" Li Yan gave Shinohara Mirai a thumbs-up. "Ladies, besides drinking, you’ll have to strip!"
Shinohara Mirai shyly smiled, "It’s just luck..."
Wen Qianyi inwardly cringed; it was genuinely luck... Couldn’t be an expert prearranging every detail while shuffling, right?
As she voiced her thoughts, she didn’t cheat. Seeing Matsushima Kui’s cue, she voluntarily removed her coat, "Perfect, it’s a bit hot from drinking."
Wen Qianyi undressed, leading Matsushima Kui to follow suit, shedding hers graciously.
Though they had more clothing than Li Yan, now just using up their "Death Exemption Token," not caring much while gaining more impetus to reverse the ga.
When playing cards, switching seats and luck is common practice, but they didn’t swap with Li Yan or Shinohara Mirai, simply shifting between themselves, with Li Yan switching with Shinohara Mirai.
