When Li Yan suddenly saw Hai Fu on a date, he felt a bit complicated because before coming over, she called to ask him to visit her in the evening and ntioned how many tis he owes her, implying a wild night to repay. Yet, here she was on a date tonight.

He thought for a mont and didn’t take a cab straight ho. Instead, he went to the hospital, as it was closer from there than going ho. He intended to drive his car back for convenience and to see whether Yurong had returned.
Sitting in the taxi, he couldn’t help but think about the scene of Hai Fu on her date. He felt a bit conflicted.
The two initially got together because Hai Fu was ecstatic and drunk, leading to a one-night stand. Hai Fu wanted change, so they continued seeing each other as friends with benefits or multiple-night flings. Given his current state, he can’t provide her with much, and she’s not a young girl anymore. She can’t waste her years for soone.

It didn’t take long to get to the hospital from there, and by the ti he arrived, Yurong was no longer in the ward.
Seeing him return at night, Yue Yao feared he’d stay to care for her again, quickly stating, "You should go back, don’t stay here watching ; the nurse can take care of things. By the way, Yurong just left, should I call her back to walk with you?"

"I have, Yurong just had a al with . You’d better hurry back; she’ll worry if she gets ho and finds you’re not there."

Yue Yao felt a slight touch of emotion. Having him by her side these few nights, even if she didn’t need much care from him, the psychological comfort was imnse. It was a rare experience to share a room with him overnight until daylight.
