Chapter Seven: Yurong’s Anxiety
Yue Yao was discharged, and this calm mansion also slightly regained its liveliest monts, with Aunt Liu busily preparing a sumptuous dinner for them.
But Zhang Yurong didn’t co back when she was supposed to!

For soone like her to feel anxious, it would take sothing as sudden and severe as the anthrax virus incident at the Prince Hotel half a year ago. And tiredness, it should be ntal, as she was still in high spirits when she left in the afternoon.
"Did you hear ?"
Hearing Yurong’s urging, Li Yan ceased his internal analysis, focused, and asked directly, "Did sothing happen at the company?"
Yurong hesitated for a mont and then said, "No, just a small matter, I’ll be back when I’m done. That’s it!"
She hung up the phone, but Li Yan wasn’t reassured and went over to tell Yue Yao and let Aunt Liu know to eat first. He was going to pick up Yurong and might be back a bit later.

Li Yan also considered buying another car with better performance for backup, improving efficiency. He simply forgot because he’s been too busy lately. Today, Yurong gave him a new car, which ca in handy.

Approaching the company, Li Yan called Yurong again. This ti he spoke first: "I’m here to pick you up after work. Are you still at the CEO’s office? I’ll co find you!"
"You’re here to pick up?"
Zhang Yurong was a bit surprised, not expecting this move from him, but soon felt warmth in her heart. In movies, boyfriends and husbands often pick up their girlfriends and wives from work. Seeing her urgency, Li Yan didn’t want to waste her valuable ti. But since many senior executives hadn’t left yet, waiting in the parking lot could raise eyebrows. He suggested, "I’ll wait in my office first. Call when you’re done."

After parking the car and coming out, he ran into the security captain, Yang Dalong, in the lobby and thought to pass the ti by having a smoke with him.
