As they reached the door, it opened, revealing Li Jie and Chen Mingying standing there.
"Is this your work attitude?" Chen Mingying coldly glared at Li Yan, though speaking to Li Jie outside, "I hired you to keep outsiders away from Xiao Di, and yet you let them in and even help them as lookouts? What’s happened to your professional ethics?!"
Quiet Li Jie spoke up, "I’ll resign imdiately, you needn’t pay anymore. Besides being a bodyguard... I am also her friend!"
Yu Xiao Di felt sowhat agitated, calling out to her mom, "What are you doing? It’s not Li Jie’s issue!"
Li Yan calmly smiled, "President Chen, there’s no need to bla her; I didn’t force my way in or ask Li Jie’s help. I was invited by Mayor Yu, who allowed to et Xiao Di."
"What?" Chen Mingying glared angrily at Li Yan.
Li Yan shook his head and sighed, "Why bother? These past two months, I’ve never disturbed you once, and Xiao Di has cooperated with you.
